Small ball Vs Griffin & Jordan. Yikes, Howard & Capela need to play big minutes

 

I'd be stunned if the Rockets won this one. They're missing players. Their starters had to log heavy minutes last night. And the Clippers are 4-1 and not exactly the Sacramento Kings.

It would be great to pull this one off somehow though and come home above .500 as the schedule gets really easy for the next 3 weeks.

 

The clippers are gonna be such try hards this game is gonna be like game 7 of the finals to them

We will probably lose this game because of our rebounding(we cannot rebound with only Trevor at the four) I think we need to play Harrell and a Capella/Howard together because our boards ability with smalball is causing us to lose

 

If this is one of those J Crossover games Im gonna throw a fit.

This would be a great "Ty Lawson off the bench" game. Lawson is useless in starting lineup, against Clipper's defenseless bench he could go bananas. But it aint happenin

 

How about Game 7 of the WC Finals? Were they trying hard then?

Not trying to single you out, but it's a good thing that the leaders of this team have more mental toughness than the collective minds in this thread.

We've got Dwight tonight and Harden looks focused again. We'll struggle to match up with Blake, but that would've happened even if with T Jones.

I think we take this one.

 

I don't think we'll win, but this is a must win game. Every game this year against big 4 is a must win (clips, spurs, okc, gsw) if we want home court advantage. These are double wins if you win and double L's if we lose.

Some of you Harden trolls make me long for the days when our worst problems were LOF's. At the very least I could respect their passion.

 

Def a tough game, if we stay focused we can win this

I'll rather have Capela start and Dwight come of the bench

 

How come we dont do this more often instead of always sitting him out on back to back?

 

Should be a fun game to watch. I just don't want to see defensive effort lapses like we saw last night.

I'd rather see solid defensive effort for 48 minutes and mistakes galore than see the occasional bursts where the effort isn't even there.

It will be cool to see How Dwight plays, and of course watching Lawson continue to grow and blend in with this team.

 

Yeah this has classic Rockets 20 point loss written all over it. The fact that we are so injured already and had to exert that much last night against the Kings? Bad sign for tonight.

I will hope for the best, regardless, but fully expecting a blowout.

 

If we somehow win this game I'd be so hype.

But yea it ain't happening. Honestly I would't be too upset if we just covered the spread and made it somewhat close. Gonna have to make up some serious ground these next few weeks.
