It's sad how many people don't care about DV until pictures come out...like, its not any less gruesome of a crime sans photos.

What's worse is that the NFL had these pictures when the suspension was shortened from 10 to 4 games.

Kick him out. Just do it. This is unacceptable on every level.

The NFL is such a joke of an organization. I love football, but honestly wouldnt be upset to see the league disappear in 30 years. Full of hypocrisy.

It really is crazy to me that he's playing and is being exalted by people in the Cowboys' organization. "He's our leader." WTF? Leader to where? I know Cowboys fans typically feel no shame, but damn it would be hard to cheer for this guy knowing what we know.

Not enough bad things can happen to Hardy, or his enablers.

Whatever the case, the NFL's judicial process continues to be a complete joke.

I mean there is an unparalleled lack of process and lack of integrity here. I wonder if the NFL's bubble is ever going to burst - I swear, they owe a huge amount of their profits to fantasy football, I think that is the biggest driver of their ratings/TV deals.

Horse****. Whether he saw them or not, he was signing Hardy. Anything for a Super Bowl.

What's the running theme for all if these cases?

    Drugs, alcohol, and previous violence.

    None of these things mix.

Why do these people put themselves in situations like this? Just stupid on everyone's account. And Greg Hardy deserves to have his knees taken out. Or worse.

The things people will do while chasing the almighty dollar...

The group that needs to come out against this is the NFLPA. They need to quit protecting and fighting for players who commit this sort of travesty. They need to publicly condemn him. The NFL had their hands tied in this case. Presumably, whatever long suspension they gave him would have been reduced.

Why, the NFLPA should be looking out for its player just like defense lawyers should be looking out for their clients.

The NFL is filled with violent people. It hasn't seemed to hurts its popularity. Big Ben raped 2 girls and no one seems to care anymore.

If people really cared they should stop watching going to stadiums etc. , but they really don't. The just want to see their games Sunday.

I don't really blame the NFLPA. Legally, all they did was contest the justifications of why Hardy was suspended based on the rules the NFL set. It's the NFL that should get its game together by drafting rules to allow them to punish players for these offenses instead of arbitrarily giving judgment and punishments.

It's also on the judicial system for Hardy's lack of punishment. The judicial system can't really take over the case when the victim doesn't want to press charges and they have no chance of winning if the victim doesn't testify. The victim took her hush money to stay silent. Can't say I agree with her decision to do so, but she's an adult that made her decision to let this go for X amount of dollars.

yeah but guess who wants approval of said rules? the same NFLPA that blindly defends murderers, rapists, child abusers, and ball deflators all in the name of the union.
