Yes the coaches agents and their pull with the media is a big factor in all this.

(coicidence that there are TWO articles tonight praising Mchale and what tough job he has to do when it's confirmed he's on a hot seat by our insider? I dont' think so).

But I think Messina is a bright coach. If he stays with the Spurs for more years he will be able to gain enough support to be a head coach. He was already picked to stand in for Pop when he was sick out of all the other assistants. I don't think that the Spurs will be swayed so easilly by the media hacks anyway.

Well not everyone has to go full Ivanovic on their players. And I think some of the CSKA players like Teodosic are exceptional prima donnas even compared to NBA standards. In your opinion who are the top 3 current european coaches?

Nah. I think Les was willing to hear Morey out on the puppet coach strategy. Hasn't worked as planned so will need to hire someone that can challenge him a little more than McHale does/has.

This team has what it takes to win, it's just that the execution simply isn't there. I do feel for McHale though because having Dwight sitting out every other game makes for difficult chemistry.

Looks like Joerger will get the boot soon.

If not Messina, the answer is obviously Luke Walton. He'll definitely get Harden to 50-40-90

This is exactly what Chris Finch is...a puppet. Maury's strategy of having a puppet head coach has and always will be a failure.

Yeah, if all these rumors are true, I'm happy to hear that Les is not satisfied at this point.

His desire to win was frustrating when the team was treading 9 seed water, but I'm glad he is expecting more, especially in light of last season 'we don't have to win the Finals' statement.

It is good to have Alexander pushing for making progress. However this is not a team that can make to WCF with coach change or not. Last season, JSmith was the key and this team had good luck.

Ok. Well hope it's true. Dwight in and out doesn't excuse us from not having an offense or defense as a team.

Injuries. We were only the most injured team in the league last year.

I still believe in this team under McHale. The board kills him for being too simplistic, but sometimes basketball is simple. You got to play HARD! You go to make the EFFORT on defense. This team lacks a full 48 minutes of effort.

If this Rockets team wanted it, they would blow out teams. We just have too much talent.

In many ways you are correct, but if players are playing with less than full effort, it is incumbent on the coaching staff to let them know they will be held accountable.
