I'm really digging Shantel VanSanten's role in the show. I thought she would be the Linda Park of season 2, but to me, she's shown way more chemistry with Barry than even Iris. It's a long shot, but I hope she'll be made a series regular.

Iris was casted as Laurel's doppleganger. They both have the wide eyed puppy dog look caught up in a love triangle with the main character. Both of their fathers are in law enforcement and both of their mothers are estranged. It would make the show much more enjoyable if they would write both of them out.

Anyone else getting the feeling that somehow current Wells is connected to Zoom? I know you guys noticed when Cisco looked at him as he was explaining to Barry how to make seperate images of himself as a distraction to Dr. Light. He's also been wearing a ton of black so far. Just saying.
Not at all, I think he wants to kill Zoom to get his daughter back and that's his ulterior motive for helping Flash. He wants to build a weapon to kill Zoom.
I think that Wells is such a good cast member from a rating standpoint they would want to keep him as an integral part of the show... and that means he needs to be hanging around in the good but dicky capacity for a while. So I doubt they will let him go evil again and disappear for long periods. There was a strange moment there where Flash sounded exactly like Captain Cold, which was more likely due to the actor mimicing his colleagues speech patterns by accident. All in all a good show.
Forgot about the scene at the end with his daughter. But there has to be a reason he took his daughter and is keeping her captive. I'm sure he helped Zoom in some way.
Oh damn, I'm stupid. I get it now, that's why he's so adamant about Zoom's ability to manipulate people.....because that's what he's doing with Wells and why he has his daughter. It makes perfect sense.
I don't want them to write them out. I wish they would just give those new story archs to Laurel and Iris instead of just making new, characters that fans fall in love with (Arrow: Felicity, Sara, Flash: Patty). Sara's story lines could have easily been given to Laurel and Patty's story lines could have been given to Iris. Instead of fixing the characters the writers just make a new one fixing their mistakes and make the comic book relationships suffer by not doing anything with them. Patty going to be the new Sara. She won't last to season 3 then there will be a fan revolt. Poor Iris.
not a fan of iris or laurel, so i wouldn't mind at all if they wrote them out. Always liked felicity and barrys interaction as loved the original canary.

Spoiler Or maybe he actually is really trying to help the Flash defeat Zoom... the only opposition i see is with Jay. What if the plot turned this time around and it was Wells who is trying to actually help Barry and Jay was the one who was trying to steal Barry's speed, all I ever hear Jay say is about how fast Barry is and how he lost his speed.
