If someone were to blatantly inflict violence upon Curry that ends up getting him injured, he'd probably first get gang tackled by the entire Warriors bench and then get suspended by the league for the rest of the season. Basketball isn't a sport where you beat your opponent with physical violence. This is a skilled competition about putting a ball through the hoop. This isn't the 80's anymore where scrub enforcers can have a contributory role on a team. The game is different.

I don't hate Curry and by no means do I want him to get hurt, but I am surprised by the amount of showboating he gets away with. I understand being happy/fist pumping/yelling, but the dancing is a little much, I'm surprised no one has called him out on it or followed up a dance with a hard foul. Most other players would get serious flak from the media if they danced like that.

But, agree with sentiment above: I'd settle for him to stop chewing on his mouthguard. It's just gross.

Never thought he would be this good. Was rooting for him when they used to stink. Don't like draymond green though after the Beverley hard foul from a couple of years ago.

Agreed. Curry is just better already, and has better work ethic than Harden.

Partying with Meek Mill in Miami before Sunday's game, and getting blown out by the Heat is unacceptable.

I'd take Curry over Harden as Rockets franchise centerpiece.

Curry can do as he pleases since he's the best player on the best team and is the best player in the league right now, and easily the favorite to win MVP yet again.

Everyone loves him including the media. Even off the court he's considered flawless -- the media adores his family.

That said, yes I'm looking forward to someone kicking his ass. Too bad the league's too soft and the league office would probably punish anyone hard for doing it.

Can you imagine if John Wall did some of the showboating-ish stuff Curry does? Wall would be taken to task by the media asap.

    1. Anthony Mason is dead
    2. This thread shows jealousy
    3. Don't associate yourself with Rockets fans
    4. Did Spurs fans or Knicks fans say "Will someone punch Hakeem?" when he destroyed Robinson and Ewing?

So John Wall doesn't showboat or get pretty fired up in his own right? Guess you haven't followed that guy enough

To the level that Curry does it? No he does not, imo. Yes I follow him a fair amount.
Perhaps it's just because as well as Wall is playing now, Curry is playing in a different stratosphere as anyone so as he has raised up his level of play even more, maybe his showboating is more pronounced. Meh.

do you understand how fans of other teams would find it hypocritical for calling out Curry for showboating when Harden is doing his cook em up motion (especially when trailing)?

On board with the curry hate, but mainly it's bc he's on a championship team and he's not a rocket. In addition, he's hard to root for. He's very kevin martin like in terms of his physical appearance, boyish, skinny and prances around while flailing his arms like he's made of sticks after he makes a shot. I rather see a superhuman looking superstar like Lebron dunk on people.

Now if he was a Rocket, I'd be signing a different tune.

He is the best shooter the game has ever seen. He is the best PG today. He is a top 3 player today. He is on pace to be top 5 PG of all time. He is constantly improving.

We should learn to accept and deal with as Rocket fans. Don't be salty. He has owned us. His team has owned us. He has a ring that was a dominating performance. He is a deserved MVP.

Credit to Curry to defy all odds and ankle injuries and look like a regular out there instead of some athletic freak. True stud.

I dislike Draymond flopping Green a lot more than Stephan cocky grin Curry, but I think we can all agree we'd like to see this current Warriors team experience some adversity. Everything, including attention and limelight, has come way too easily to them. Under different circumstances I think I'd actually like that team. Now, arrogance comes second nature to them.
