I really hope the 4th quarter was a breakthrough for Lawson. For the first time this year he looked like he was attacking the defense that was shading towards Harden. He needs to be aggressive when Harden is in the game, or else he isn't any more valuable than Beverley. Harden also fell back into the ISO, then jack up a shot routine. He really needs to break himself of that habit. I don't mind his ISO's, but he can get that 3 off anytime he wants, try to create of the dribble first.
I think Harden is cognizant of how tired he became at season's end and our deep playoff run, which is why he's settling for the shot. It's exhausting to be aggressive, and it's important that Ty really takes off some of that burden, so Harden is ready to go as the season progresses. That being said, we have trouble with this Magic team. Oladipo goes HAM on us, and Fournier and Hezonja concern me. Rockets lose 98-85
I feel like the Thunder win can give them the confidence they need. Harden's shot was finally falling. Often times, that's all it takes for our offense to get going. Sometimes it is a contagious effect. Let's hope that is the case for the Rockets.
We better blow these clowns out by 20 at least They are on a back to back and we are rested and at home. No excuses Mc****
Magic are a very good young team. They have decent depth and serious athleticism. They took OKC to 2OT. They are a playoff team in the East.
If so then I'm gonna go ahead, and put my tin foil hat on with all the other overreacting conspiracy theorists and might start thinking the Rockets are holding something back about Dwight's health. The Rockets were the team that notoriously urged T-Mac to put off major knee surgery by holding him out of games. That season was T-Mac's last good season before he went under the knife. Paint me as now officially concerned if he's already missing this many games. I get they are going to hold him out of some back to backs, but this would seem excessive. Also his comments yesterday about "wanting to be able to walk when I'm old" don't sound too positive. So if anyone has any pick-me-ups today I could use one.
don't see anything about DH missing tonight's game but they have acknowledged that with the early season back to backs he'll likely sit one. As the season goes on that may change. http://www.houstonchronicle.com/spo...hp?t=a42cbb6fb3438d9cbb&cmpid=twitter-premium
Dwight's leverage for a max long term deal with the Rockets goes down as I hear these tidbits. Sure, Dwight is still a difference maker whenever he plays, but dude's body is breaking down at an alarming rate.
Magic is a real threat for us. If we attack them all night long, they will make mistakes due to their inexperience.
Some posters love to overrate their own team. Even after their own team has lost two games they shouldn't have already.
I don't want to call it a must win game...but I mean...they really gotta win this game. Can't drop 2 of 5 to teams like the Nuggets and Magic.
