Could be anything, if your assumptions are correct.

How do you know it was for Clowney himself? Were you listening in?

How do you know knee or shoulder? (If it's a knee scope, he could have it today, quietly, and play again in our next game.

It was reported his back was sore. Why the misinformation from the media?

Wouldn't they do pre-op privately for someone like Clowney?

Why is no media reporting this

I'm not doubting you. Just saying it doesn't add up...

No worries, I don't blame you really. I literally got within 6 feet of him. Went into the pre op room with my girlfriend, realized I left my backpack in the waiting area. Left and when I came back is when I noticed him. Really obvious it was him, got a clear view.

As for why they didn't have him somewhere more private, not sure. The area we were in wasn't a busy place though. I know it was knee or shoulder because that's what they specialize in at this section. Girlfriend's surgeon actually used to be a team doctor with the Baltimore Ravens, Dr. Robert Fullick.

The problem with that....is the Texans would have announced it. Also, they have already said his injury were straining back, nothing structural.

Why would the Texans announce it?

    They've hidden surgeries before.

    Heck, Darrell Revis hid microfracture!

Mightve been a routine knee examination/evaluation?

Highly doubt he had a surgical procedure, as media members are really good about finding that kinda stuff out very fast... NOT saying I dont believe you, but its probably nothing of concern if he was there.

That very well may be. I know my girlfriend has had knee "cleanup" procedures in a different area in the medical plaza. No hard feelings from me, just thought I'd let others know he was here. He did seem in good spirits, a lot of the staff was speaking with him. He has an awful singing voice btw.

I know I overheard either a nurse, surgeon, etc. asking him "So are you gonna do it?" or something along those lines referring to a procedure.

Texans have to announce it. League rules. Affects future betting lines...player injuries.

So they have to announce it BEFORE the procedure takes place?

Did you see any bone saws in the room? Could be a clue they might be amputating

Lol no. My girlfriend is actually a BKA herself. Stared at the Rice campus outside the window half the time.

    Awesome.

If he had a cleanup, for some reason, I think it'd be potentially viable for him to play against Cincinnati. If the "back injury" keeps him out for that game, then I'll have even more reason to believe your story.

I'm really hoping something is reported the next couple of days. But I know what I know, just thought I'd pass it along. If nothing is reported, I'd be very curious why not. Just weird

It's only because they are the Texans and no matter what they do it's wrong. If there are two Carr's the Texans will end up with the bad one.

What was really the difference between David and Derek as far as scouting goes? Nothing. Both put up amazing numbers for the same college team and had great arms. Derek lasted to the 2nd round because of how much David failed in the pros.
