For all y'all die hard fans out there - here's your chance to add to your memorabilia collection.

[rQUOTEr]Former Rocket Mike James' $6.9M Houston home for sale

Former Houston Rockets point guard Mike James is selling his west Houston estate for $6,999,000.

Built in 2007, this 9,286-square-foot mansion includes a 2,000-square-foot guest house, both designed by Reihl Designs. The Mediterranean-style main house has 11 bedrooms and 10.5 bathrooms.

Made for entertaining, the home's interior is outfitted with bright, colorful decor. High-end finishes and professional-grade appliances fill the kitchen.

According to its listing, the home's entertaining spaces include "a full professional sports complex with indoor basketball court, pro-equipped gym, hydrotherapy immersion tanks." The main house also has a media room, "man cave" and billiard space with a wet bar and second-floor balcony that overlooks the grounds.

Set on 3.52 acres, the property has a variety of sporting areas and scenic settings, including over-sized fountains, a putting green and a massive saltwater swimming pool.

The NBA star's house, listed at just under $7 million, was last sold in May 2006, according to public data. The original list price was $8,000,000.

Diane Kingshill with Martha Turner Sotheby's International has the listing.

man, he lives like a franchise player.

Yao Ming's house was only a 400k house.

Just because you have money doesn't mean you have taste. Looks like someone's grandma decorated that place.

What's the point of the boarded off windows? Makes the house look kind of messed up for the money.

I thought that was Yao's house for the longest time since it's right across the street from Yao's restaurant.

    I thought the same!

Man, you'd have to drop a ton of additional cash to redo the interior of that place for real...wow

Yao is a straight up business man. Thats why Yao has investments to make him money well after the NBA stream stops. Living 'hood rich' is a quick sentencing to bankruptcy.

That was Yao's first house (the one in Katy). He later bought a home in Memorial that was more like 12 million. I'm not saying he couldn't afford it (he certainly could) but don't act like Yao was some frugal genius.

That's like a season's worth of play. At his highe$t, he made 6,000,000.

No genius but a frugal and wise investor. He was coming into a league and a city where he didnt know if he was going to make it and become a permanent fixture, so he bought a modest house, even though he could afford one six folds. You dont have to be a genius to know your worth. Just be fiscally stable.
