I never expected the grizzlies to win this game. Also, the grizzlies did some good things in this game. Curry and Thompson are still rattled out of their game when they play memphis. In a seven game series it would even get more difficult for the warriors to score. The big win is a good win for that team, but it really doesn't mean a whole lot in the grand scheme.
I'm just strictly going off the box score, but both the Splash Bros are shooting over 50% (2s and 3s). Not exactly nervous, if you ask me.
Suns clippers game isn't so bad although morris and Bledsoe are shooting the Suns out of it right now
A lot of curry's scoring were two pint shoots after the score got outta hand. The warriors whole shtick is every time somebody makes a basket they celebrate like it is a game winning shot so that their team gets 'loose" and can make baskets. Once the game gotta outta hand curry scored on consecutive turnovers going to the basket. Anyway the grizzlies were 2-1 against this team and the warriors know it, so they are trying to prove something. It's what the spurs did to us, what the clippers did to us, etc. I expect the grizzlies to figure them out before playoff time.
The grizzlies also beat this team to ruin their 22 game winning streak a year ago. There are very few teams that continue to beat the grizzlies without the grizzlies being able to close the gap. For about a year and a half the clippers owned us after the grizzlies blew that 20 point lead in the playoffs. The spurs owned us after the grizzlies knocked them out of the playoffs. Both of these teams the grizzlies eventually figured out. Yes, the grizzlies wanted this game but I suspect that the warriors needed this game more than the grizzlies did.
the grizzlies are done. the only teams that have a shot in the playoffs this year are the warriors cavs clippers rockets spurs are done bulls are done next year things may change though. the rockets may drop out of it depending on what happens. but the clippers, cavs, & warriors should be all good for the next 2-3 years.
