Mchale played Capela more. He played well for that 2 minutes Dwight needed a rest. Capela played well the whole night. Play him more. damn.

Good god finally got that first win. Two things most important to this win:

1a and 1b: defense. We actually seemed locked in defensive in the 2nd half. Westbrook getting in foul trouble really helped, but KD played as bad as you can ask him to play.

2: Harden and Lawson actually playing off each other well for stretches. This allowed us to pull ahead in the 4th and we held on with our defense. It will take awhile but hopefully in month or two they will get to the point where it won't be flashes but consistent. In the 4th Lawson was creating a lot and I really felt comfortable with the ball in his hands. Multiple times they overplayed and focused too much on Harden and Lawson created a shot on his own. This is why we brought him here! I still think he should start and finish games because if we can get these two clicking together we will be elite offensively on their talent alone.

Other than that, we really need DMo and Jones back cause Harrell is lost defensively and Capela still is not at the point where we can rely on him for heavy minutes, still is too weak with the ball especially when rebounding and commits stupid fouls.

Still waiting on Ariza to shoot over 30% from 3...

 

Amazing game! I didn't watch the first few games but glad I had time for this one. Everyone played their role tonight. Harden playing moving the points, Ty distributing, Ariza locking KD, Dwight hitting those last free throws. What I enjoyed most was them capitalizing on Westbrook in foul trouble and not crumbling when he came back in.

Since I don't have NBA TV on my cable provider, does anyone know whether league pass will have this available for replay at some point?

 

Yea bro, I'm arrogant to think that the first team in NBA history to go 0-3 with 20 point losses wouldn't win on the second night of a back to back against a great team.

Super happy we won and I hope we are back on track. My mood is determined by this teams success, so none of your holier than thou comments are gonna get me down.

It is just one game, just like the first loss was one game.

They come out sleeping against the Magic and it is a loss. Oladipo is IMO one of the best SGs in the NBA and I remember him clearly outplaying Harden (In Orlando?) last seasosn.

An 0-3 team all losing close games to playoff team. They are not nearly as bad as that record.

 

I really liked how the Rockets didn't panic when down 18(?). They didn't try to make an 18 pt play. They got back into the game one play at a time. I really thought the game was done when they went down by double digits.

 

Just download it. Its really not hard, seriously. You know how I found a link for the game tonight? I typed OKC versus Rockets nba stream in google, lol. Just do the same for a download in a couple hours if it doesn't show on NBATV.

 

What I liked about Lawson tonight is that he kind of forced Dwight not to post up.

Finally a win.....it took long enough.
