The Colts don't have a cupcake schedule either: Sun, Nov 8 vs Broncos 3:25 PM Sun, Nov 22 @ Falcons 12:00 PM Sun, Nov 29 vs Buccaneers 12:00 PM Sun, Dec 6 @ Steelers 7:30 PM Sun, Dec 13 @ Jaguars 12:00 PM Sun, Dec 20 vs Texans 12:00 PM Sun, Dec 27 @ Dolphins 12:00 PM Sun, Jan 3 vs Titans 12:00 PM They could easily lose to the Panthers, Broncos, Falcons, Steelers, and Dolphins.
What will we see? Possibly a crappy QB? Okay. I dont understand the point you're trying to make. If you're waiting for Hoyer to fail harder than Mallett, that wont happen. Mallett has failed as hard as any QB in the league can possibly fail.
I know you have some kind of thing for Mallett, but that's really irrelevant, the only thing that matters is on field production and I think after the next 6 games, even you will realize just how terrible Hoyer is at being a QB.....even if he is on time.
Are you still telling us how terrible Hoyer is? 13 touchdowns, 3 picks. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating
Can we just ignore Bobby already? It's pretty obvious that he's going to keep going as long as you keep responding. No need posting stats or facts. He's going to ignore it and keep saying "wait for it...".
It's really all I can say to short sighted people who always have to find things out the hard way. I had to say it to the crazy Jones fans in the GARM, I have to say it to the Hoyer fans here in the Texans forum. Eventually people realize that I'm right, it just takes some longer than others to figure it out.
What you're failing to understand is that you are NOT right. Nobody is claiming that Hoyer is the Texans future...I think every single person in here agrees that we need to draft a QB. What you're not admitting to is the fact that you repeatedly said that Mallett is a better QB than Hoyer. You specifically made numerous comments regarding this exact discussion. And you were dead wrong.
And the winner gets to host a playoff game. Right now the division leaders are so far ahead of the others in the other divisions. The wild card could go to Oakland and the Jets
If you mean the field where people play golf, you may be right. In any case, Mallet is going to have plenty of time to improve his swing if he can make the tee time
Well, that'll only be the case if Hoyer finishes the rest of the season with 0 TDs and 15 INTs. I guess you still have a chance of being correct.
Can you imagine Washington winning the NFC East and hosting the Falcons or the Packers? Now that will cause a huge freakout lol
Can someone please point me in the direction of where to find evidence of things Bobby was right about? I understand that it will be tougher than finding film of quality Mallett passes, but I don't have time to sift through his 19K+ of drivel to attempt to validate his claims. Thanks in advance!
why would they freak out? it happened last year and with seattle. both times the hosting team won. it's what the nfl wants, for everyone to feel like they have a chance. the nba, that's a different story.
The problem was that last year, the 10-6 Eagles were out and the 7-8-1 Panthers were in. This year with the AFC you could have two mediocre teams with sub-500 records face off (i.e. Texans and Raiders). Now that's ugly. But it's early. I'm sure things will shapen out as the season progresses.
