If I was playing bad as Harden the first 2 games I'm not partying. We got blown out both games AT HOME. I kinda feel we (the fans) & the organization have sorta coddled Harden's his time here. When he was a no show in the postseason we said "he's still young". When he turned the ball over 13 times in a elimination game we said "no, he was just tired and needs another playmaker". No excuses this year. He looks outta shape & slow.

Guys, seriously harden can hop on a private charter and be in Miami and back in matter of hours. The "its his only game in Miami" argument is terrible

I called 790 about this earlier and they are about to talk about it with Craig Ackerman in about 15 min.

Once again..Harden is NOT Jordan. Not even close. When he can play like him, lead his teams to championships like him, play defence like him then we can talk again.

"He is who he is" doesn't cut it. Stupid actions deserve criticism.
He had the best season out of Curry and Lebron? REALLY? Curry and Lebron led their teams to the finas, and Curry won MVP.
And he defeinitely needs to step up from last TWO GAMES to play even like a replacement level player. Not even a starter or a star or a superstar or an MVP candidate. A replacement level player who has a basic concept of knowing what defence is.

Your whole post is one wrong after the other really. He tried to do too much? That's why he left his man open to shoot 3s all the time? Ballwatching? Even Lawson is better than him at keeping an eye on his man- and Lawson is BAD defender.

Harden is about that life and the fans have to pay for it.

Here you go pipp. Tidbits of what I caught.

790: That's kind of a distrubgin string of games to start the season. 20 point losses in each of the first 3 games. What is the biggest thing you are seeing since you're up close every night? WHat is the biggest problem for you?

CA: There is a lot of them. Ship is taking a lot of water with the amount of holes. FOr me personally, in the NBA you only go as far as your best player takes you. Last season he was playing mVP level. This season its not even close. I don't know what happened but to me that's the biggest problem. Other players aren't playing well but if your best playr is struggling, it hard to beat everybody

790: He is not shooting the ball well but how much of it is Ty Lawson on the floor with James?

CA: TY is another guy who hasn't contributed at all. Ty looks hesitant. Right now one of the things Mc**** talks about is the disconnect between bigs and smalls due to injuries. There are lots of issues. Ty has not played well. Harden shooting absolutely terribly. Howard ahs played 20 minutes. Brew and Ariza are not up to par.

790: I'm driving before the game and you're interview with McHale that aired before the game. He was not happy. He said I don't want to hear excuses. I thought that was about point blank and he laid it out.

CA: He hasn't slept much in the last several days. He is very frustrated. He mentioned a couple of sequences in the GSW game where warriors with one guy beat the Rockets with 3 guys for the ball. It'd be easier to fix one particular problem. Problem is there are a lot of holes in a lot of various areas and that's why they have gotten off to such a disastrous start. I think ultimately they'' get it together but what concerns me is that all teams in the West playoff picture will be separated by few games. And you lose HCA. Outside of Harrell and Capela they have played terribly so far. And they have to figure it out.

As always 790 towing the company line and not asking any more detailed or personal questions.

DD and me got flamed for saying this last season and the gap is only getting wider. It's not even close any longer.

    Very sad.

I think Curry is in Harden's head. That's just my personal opinion.

This isn't really a new Harden. We have always known that Harden has his moments where its a total collapse. We all should have seen it since his OKC days where he was the catalyst that they needed in the finals and Miami got in his head, and he couldn't recover.

That being said, when this guy is on (and that's about 90 to 95% of the time) he's incredible, and love him or hate him....

(most of you are hating him now obviously WHICH WILL CHANGE when he comes back out of his rut because you guys are fickle and wishy washy fans)

....he's the Rockets best shot at a title, or long term sustained regular season and playoff success.

We know that Harden parties, and we know that Harden sometimes has issues where he mentally collapses. Those reasons along with OKC's cheap owners are the main reasons why Harden is even in a Rockets uniform to begin with. So take Harden for who he is, and deal with it, or then you should think about the alternative which is the Rockets probably tanked in 2012 through whenever, and had to rebuild through the draft for years.

Your call Houston fans, but this is who you should've known you were getting when we made that trade if you were paying attention. The guy has these moments, and we know he parties sometimes like a normal f#$%ing rich young athlete.

Critisizing isn't hating. Nobody's perfect. So we shouldn't critisize as well as praise when something bad or good happens? So you want people to be blind homers? "Everything is good" ?

Harden said publicly that he will go out of "chill mode" and focus a few hours after the game. Then his way to go out of chill mode was to go to a party and chill out. If that doesnt' deserve critisism then I dont' know what does.

Yeah when they previewed the Harden party video before saying they would talk to Craig Ackerman, I was thinking they were going to mention it.

i doubt curry is in his head. i just think basketball games come in second to him, the nba lifestyle comes first. The great ones have the parties at home in their indoor hot tubs or in private massage parlors on an offday.

It kind of sucks when your superstar's biggest enemy seems to be making all the right moves, and your superstar is making all the wrong moves.

Curry - Religious, has a family, great relationship with family, isn't cocky, etc.

Harden - Gang affiliated, makes it rain at strip clubs constantly, very cocky, etc.

I hate to say it, but maybe Harden is the least role model-able superstar in the league.

It kind of feels like Curry is the little angel of the NBA and Harden is the little devil of the NBA.

    :( :( :( :(

I just want Harden to get out of this shooting slump and get the team back to winning.
