Harden was partying with Meek Mill in Miami on Halloween

It was Halloween and he was in Miami. Yeah it is frustrating to watch him play so lethargically but I don't see a huge issue with him being out

 

Once again... There is a guy named Michael Jordan. He had some pretty well documents party habits. He also worked his ass off in practice... Just like harden does.

 

And that guy was Jordan. Harden isn't Jordan. And Harden hasn't won anything. Nor has he consistently delivered in the playoffs irregardless of partying or not.

 

I don't care if these guys screw up, you know why? It's not MY job on the line. It's theirs. I watch for entertainment. I dont bet on the games or players, I don't have any ownership in the team so this kind of negative press doesn't faze me. Harden is a 26 year old young man who has already signed a fat contract making insane money with the Rockets and just signed a $200 million contract with ADIDAS. You think winning and losing is as important to him now? Doubt it. And it shouldn't be as important to yall either.... Unless you're gambling. If the Rockets win a Championship, they get millions of extra dollars, gold rings and fame! You get a t-shirt.

 

So the fact that we have gotten blown out by 20 freaking points 3 games in a row to start the season which mind you has NEVER been done before in the NBA, think about ALL the cellar dwelling/tanking in the history of the game and even they have never accomplished such an embarrassing feat. On top of that the guy is shooting 22% from the field and 9% from the 3pt line, so I dont know maybe he should spend a few more hours on the court practicing his broken jumper rather than getting wasted partying it up while his team is getting their asses handed to them on a daily basis and he's the biggest culprit.

 

If the Rockets were 1-1 or 2-0, or if he had been shooting 45/33/80 so far this year ok. But the Rockets were 0-2, coming off two 20 pt losses, and Harden wasn't even close to breaking the 30/20 club.

 

I don't think you know how invested fans are in a team. And that investment isn't money.

 

I know it looks bad and perhaps it is but I'd think quite a few NBA players would party if they were in Miami on Halloween night. It doesn't mean that they are the scum of the earth or don't take their job seriously.

It just sucks that he isn't playing well but partying is probably not the reason why.

Cool, so you I guess you guys want to trade him? Cause that's who he is, and he still had the best season out of Curry, Lebron, Kobe last season. Doesn't need to take a step up from last season to be an MVP candidate, lead a team, make the max and be a franchise player.

He went out for halloween, big whoop. We don't know if he drank, we don't know how long he stayed, we don't know what time he had to get up in the morning.

We haven't lost these games cause he hasn't done enough. We've lost these games cause he's tried to do/be too much.

A lot of guys party hard, it's just disappointing that a guy would come into last night's game with the mentality to shoot himself out of his slump with hands in his face, early in the shot clock meanwhile ignoring team mates and just very freaking lazy. Even Feigen commented on it! I saw multiple times where he stopped and then figured okay I will just sprint a little towards my man who is wide open shooting a three or on a fast break from Miami. That is T-mac Toronto game stuff right there and Harden is not even injured.

 

So...fair to put 6 championship expectations on Harden then?

 

8 if he stays away from baseball
