Well... Harden has played like trash and his team has been been blown out by 20 in three straight games. That's sort of confirmation, like when the Colts were 14-2, then Manning was hurt and went 2-14.
Yep. I wonder what would happen if I went to my job and had that attitude. And I don't even make .5% of what he does
@SweetLou Depends on who you ask. Apparently Udonis Haslem cussed out his team at the half. They played harder than we did in the 2nd half. - McHale
The adjustment the Heat made was playing the law of averages with the Rocket's tendency to jack an historical amount of threes with a bunch of mediocre shooters.
For whatever reason McHale sat Capela. So guess what? Lobs from Wade to Hassan for days. Then we tried to collapse into the paint, and guess what? Winslow and Wade triples for days. Unbelievable.
We countered that with Mr. Not really a good rebounder yet Harrell and chuck hayes, who might have a 0-0-0 line at the center spot. Didn't really work.
Hahhaaha good one! Seriously though, the Heat adjustment was to play harder which turned out to be not that hard. Anyone wanna bet I can predict tomorrow's final score with a margin of 5 off higher or lower for each team?
I hope we can beat one these Western conference teams. But after tonight it is hard for me to visualize it.
i am telling you we need to get rid of Khloe Kardashian her and the cover of nba 2016 not good stay humble harden oh yeah go back to nike
The Heat basically played up to their level after playing below average in the first half. On offense, did not really do anything differently but made shots they missed in the first half. They were more aggressive though. Defensively, they just waited for our shots to stop falling and took advantage because once our three pointers stop, it's basically a combination of hopeless stupid basketball and us forcing up three after three even though its not there. I guess they packed the paint but the Rockets literally stopped trying to get the ball in the paint at all and settle for isolation on the perimeter and contested 3s. The Rockets are just a dumb team that panic and get even dumber when things go bad. We want to take a lot of threes but have no one over 40% to take them. Thornton is basically our best shooter and he is very streaky. If Harden actually took good threes, he would shoot better but he keeps pulling up for stupid contest threes that are always short. McHale sees that a lineup is not working and stays with it. Its freaking insanity.
From Harden's post-game interview: "In the 2nd half, we didn't move the ball", "it's only 3 games, we're not worried about it" Judging by what he said, he clearly doesn't think it's his fault.
Stayed out on the perimeter and dared us to beat them inside which never happened. Pretty much what the Nuggets did.. They also played faster and killed us on fastbreaks where they caught us sleeping over and over.
They moved the ball but it wasn't leading to anything because the Heat players stayed on their man which they didn't do in the first half.

I genuinely cannot believe that this Rockets team has lost 3 straight games by 20 points. It sounds ABSURD just saying it. I seriously am beyond belief.
