Dwight better not even begin to ask for max money this offseason if he's already sitting out 3 games into the year.
They're saving him for the playoffs. Which will blow up in their faces if they lose a bunch of these regular season games he sits out and then wind up limping into the postseason as a 7th or 8th seed. Or God forbid, they don't even make....nah, I can't even entertain that scenario.
I know, but the West is too good, we are not in the East. If he stays healthy all year he will sit a minimum of 20 games. I thought he'd at least play this back to back considering he hasn't done jack **** for the past month.
I'm sure the Rockets will come out saying he will be "reevaluated in one week" and then he is mysteriously out for like three months with no updates.
I agree. I expected some B2B absences if one of the opponents was a lightweight. But we need him against the Heat and Thunder. We'll need him against the Kings and Clippers next week. This is gonna backfire on them if they dig themselves a big early season hole in the standings. Last year they got off to that great start and were able to stay no worse than in the middle of the pack for the entire season til they finally secured the division on the last day.

Play Howard against Heat where you have a chance of winning. Our chances against OKC on a back to back are minimal even with Dwight. Stupid
