They need to throw that kid from Florida in. Who cares about the redshirt. You don't need to save his eligibility because these other qbs should not be starting next year.

You are totally off base, man. We just lost. The blame goes to Mack Brown. Don't bring up Strong's name unless we win.

Horse****, the lack of innovation is telling - this team is lacking in any creativity at all, and they have ZERO clue how to use an athletic QB.

    Just piss poor coaching.

    THIS IS ****ING IOWA STATE!!!!

Man, DD, you're a smart poster. You must not have read my post. The sarcasm was pretty obvious. haha I don't think anyone is in disagreement following this catastrophe.

At least, Strong is so articulate in his explanations at this press conference. Makes me feel a lot better.

Still think we have the personnel to run a spread offense?

But in all honesty, I have no idea what is going to happen. Just when Charlie had some momentum, we go out and have the worst program lost I have ever witnessed. A new set of coordinators might help some but I just don't know if Strong is the right guy for the job. No HC at Texas should have the type of losses he has had. But moreover, all of the traits we thought we were getting with Strong have been non existent. This team is soft and cannot take a single punch without curling into a ball and giving up.

Funny how things change week to week. But I stated this earlier in the season that the question shouldn't be whether Charlie can get this turned around, it should be whether we have the best HC available going into next season. If the answer to the latter is no, then a change needs to be made.

I actually do. I think I've made it clear I don't like Heard at QB. You put Swoopes in at QB and bring over the OC from TCU, I think we have a productive offense. Aside from quarterback, what are we missing to run a spread offense?

Good to have you back bro! Always entertaining.

Everything sucked on that game, the lines, the offense, the defense, the coaches, the gameplans, the players, the waterboys, every damn thing.

Did I say QB is unimportant to the spread offense? No. The person I addressed the question to and I had different opinions on QB, so I wanted his opinion on the rest of the personnel.

    Thanks for contributing again, Freak.

I don't agree about Swoopes and unfortunately you might be about Heard so I think we are missing the key piece to running the spread, the rest is moot IMO.
