Who's your team? Please don't say the Titans.

I say Hackenberg and Cook go on to have better NFL careers than Mariota.

    There, I said it.

So, you're saying they're like Mettenberger?Or are we giving him too much credit?

I could see it, to be honest. They're both better than Mett, though.

    Probably.

Ya'll already missed out on David Carr (that's gonna hurt for a long time).

Goff and Lynch are the quality qbs in the draft, but knowing the texans they'll take Cardell Jones in the 3rd round and brag about how they just owned the draft.

Didn't miss out on Carr. He was here. It did hurt for a long time.;)

I haven't seen a ton of Lynch. I'm just not feeling it with Goff. He's got the tools, but he throws boneheaded balls too often. The good teams make the plays and he pays.

I would be happy with any of the big 4(Goff, hack, cook, lynch) but if we got Goff, I would be really ecstatic. We just have to be worst than all the teams wanting QBs because there's no hope of a trade up for our team in the first

One of his INT's were bad...threw a bad ball. The other pick was a terrific throw placed perfectly. However his receiver got jammed up and it was a easy pick for the DB (beat him to the spot).

Goff has all the tools I need to see from a legit starting QB. And yes, I see his skills translating in the NFL. Whether he will be a Blaine Gabbert or a Matt Ryan is yet to be seen...but I do think his ability to make certain throws only gets better once he is a pro. Goff will declare himself, if the consensus is that he will be the #1 QB picked. As of right now, no other senior really has distinguished himself...

I would be very happy if the Texans were in a position to draft him (OR if he mystically fell into our laps). It is why I hope the Titans do us a favor and beat us like a drum tomorrow afternoon...

2 fewer interceptions and Cal might have had a chance.

I'm saying this as a Cal Alumni and die hard Golden Bear but I don't think Goff is ready to carry an NFL team. Goff has the skills to do it but after watching him the last couple of games I don't think he is comfortable with the spotlight.

Today's loss was a team loss and a lot is on Cal's crappy D but at the same time Goff looked rattled and had a hard time dealing with the pressure that SC brought. It was the same thing last week. Goff looked good on that last drive but I think if he was ready to step into being an NFL starter he would've been more consistent.

No franchise QB in this draft. Maybe they'll draft a developmental guy to compete with Tom#2 next year. Bill will probably take his crony from Penn State.

It all depends on the right situation for the QB. Like I don't think Derek Carr would have worked here. Mariota and Winston are struggling. So are Bortles and Manziel. Bridgewater is just decent. The college game just doesn't make QBs like it used to. Whatever QB is drafted, it needs to be by a team with a solid foundation with the run game and the defense. It also needs to be someone the coach can gain confidence in. No more shuffling QBs in and out. I like that Cook has faced tougher competition and held his own. Hackenberg as well. Either way they should go into training camp backing Hoyer (or whoever) with a chance to win the job. Just make sure the rest of the team is better.

I still maintain that Connor Cook is the best pick for the Texans under O'Brien.

However...I also really hope O'Brien is fired, so there's that.
