Why do you make that comment? Daryl's drafts have been solid in both rounds.

I had hope for TJ as a capable backup. And then he got blocked like 10 times in the first two games.

I would say he did ok in the first round, but he had more misses in the 1st round than he did in the 2nd.

    #26 Aaron Brooks - hit
#28 Donte Green - (turned into Ron Artest) hit
#14 Patrick Patterson - eh not really a miss if you look at what was left on the board
#14 Marcus Morris - hit (not a grand slam but a solid rotation player)
    #20 DMo - hit
#12 Jeremy Lamb - (turned into James Harden) hit
    #18 Terrence Jones - hit
    #16 Royce White - mis
#25 Clint Capela - looks like a hit
#18 Sam Dekker - ? too early to grade

Keep in mind that only 3 of those picks were selected in the top half of the 1st round and none were in the top third of the round. Zero top 10 picks. In pretty much every case except for Royce White he got a rotation player or better. We could argue Donte Green or Jeremy Lamb but they were traded for significant pieces before the Rockets had a chance to develop them.

He hasn't had the home run draft pick that some teams have had but he rarely drafts a non rotation player or a player not deserving of his draft position.

I guess Derrick Chievous took the last Band-aid. Now we can't play if we get cut.

Jones is off to a slow start. I know clutchfans is always quick to judge, and that's fine. I think he has shown us some promise, he just needs to gain his confidence back in the paint. I'm all for getting a better product on the floor, I think Harrell has shown himself worthy of a trial start (do we really have an option)? IF Jones can be consistent enough with his effort, he can definitely bring a huge lift to this team. I am just surprised so many people are ready to trade him away like he's a cancer.

My guess is that Dwight will sit out this game against Miami and play Monday vs OKC. I say this because they don't want him to play back-to-backs

He's not a cancer, he's just not good at basketball and his contract is expiring. We just need to hope that someone values him by the time we get to the trade deadline.

Samuel is not even a NBA player right now, so Jones is better. That's right, someone as bad as Jones is still better than Dekker. We're not deep at 4. Not at all.

I disagree with this. Jones has proven to be a solid rotation player. I'm excited about Montrezl and I think DMo starts if he gets back to full strength. But Jones has been a good player when healthy the last 2 seasons.

So you guys are happy our big man rotation is shortened? Bosh, Whiteside and Stodemire are going to **** on us tomorrow and you guys are happy that our starting power forward is injured. Yay our already out of sync team is weaker yay!! Smh

Do you watch games? No Jones is better than Jones. Rockets looked like crap every time Jones was on the court.

Not at all, in fact I wish we had our starting PF healthy, but seeing as how they keep saying there is no timetable for him and his backup is playing terribly, it's not that big a deal that the backup is hurt and the rookie that looks good is going to get more playing time.

Wade is going to make an utter example out of Harden.

Brewer and TJ are players that make you cringe when they have the ball.

Brewer just gets plain wild. He often makes up for it but it doesn't dismiss all the wasted possesions

i actually think we have a better chance of beating MIA than OKC, but on the other hand winning a game against a conference rival is more important for end-of-season standings. in the final analysis though, i have little expectation of winning either game whether he plays or not. ughh.

Howard is easily neutralized by the refs. Morey better have a good plan for next season. I recommend moving on from Dwight, sad to say.

He's not even given the benefit of the doubt. Guys hook and lock up with him and he gets called for the foul when trying to get free. Why are the NBA refs just so awful scum of the Earth human beings? They are the most wretched bastards in all of sports.
