He does very little in general. Firminio at least has that threat of people able to pull something out of the hat and is good with the ball at his feet.
Chels meltdown is even sweeter because we get to watch Diego Costa being cast out like a fish on the beach. The most disgusting human being in the league.

Liked it when he kicked Skrtel once and then again when they both went down; and Skrtel just started his b**** ass down while Costa looked helpless and scared.
That is the correct way of handling the situation. Costa is looking for you to retaliate. If you dont retaliate, it adds to Costa's frustration, and believe it or not, makes him even more ineffective, just like in the Man City game earlier in the season. Gabriel Paulista made the mistake of retaliating and we all know how that turned out.
Nah. Mata, Martial, Memphis, Rooney and Herrera are all creative players. Rooney admittedly looks like a pub player this year, but they aren't a team that lacks creative players. Must be the philosophy. They all seem to stand around passing it aimlessly around. Possession football to a fault. No take ons, dribbles or direct runs. Slow and boring as hell.
The problem isn't possession football, Pep and other coaches are showing how unpredictable a good possession-style can be if you let all the players roam around the pitch and constantly change positions. The problem is van Gaal, he's extremely restrictive and requires his players to play only in certain areas/zones. It's predictable for opponents and kills every bit of creativity and freedom. Guys like Ribery have said that they hated playing in the van Gaal system, as they weren't allowed to be themselves.
I agree with you. While the defense has been solid due to the LVG philosophy, the attack has become plain and boring because it's all controlled, Players are not having the freedom to go out and express their full attacking talent. They are too scared to give away possession and that fear kills attacking instincts This is really not the Manchester United way. Totally different to playing under Fergie
I think Kevin McHale and Jose Mourinho are the same person. We have become the Houston Chelsea. Hot garbage.
I think he was scared of the referee not Skrtel. He knew he did something dirty and was hoping the ref didn't see it or Skrtel wouldn't react. I'm sure if Skrtel reacted to it, Costa would've feigned an injury from Skrtel like the dirty POS he is.
Not sure if you got enough reps for this. Excellent prediction as to the key to the game for Liverpool. They needed individual brilliance and he delivered it.
tbh, pulled it out of my ass, lelz. More wishful thinking than anything, but I will take the credit
