Houston's floor balance in this game was horrendous.

It's a mess out there. Even bad teams when they play against the Warriors they play like a team. Rockets... No system, no plays. I don't blame the players, I blame McHale.

I'm telling you... the nba teams have made adjustments when playing the Rockets this year. They are no longer looked at as a 1st round playoff team. Your right Mchale has to take control of this team and make X's and O's type adjustments. That's the biggest issue. People make think it's crazy to say we can win with Harden off... actually you can if your playing the game the right way as a team. I've seen GS win games without Curry and Thompson being on fire. It's all about making the right adjustments throughout the game and firing back with discipline (no stupid turnover/missing point blank layuos) and hustle ( bringing energy and hour all to offense and defense as a unit). Rockets are the total opposite of that as of now.

The team has the talent. No one can deny it. They will still go on and win 50+ games and make playoffs. The question is, will they make the playoffs as a pretender which they were showing right now or as a true contender.

My guess will be pretender as the team two best players are simply mentally weak and soft. They can't get the team over the hump and it doesn't matter who the support ing cast are.

You haven't watched many Rockets games these past three years I take it. There have been much worse performances.

People are just salty that these are the opening two games in a high expectations season. I'm one of those people, but I'm not flying off the rails.

I'm willing to give the team 2-ish weeks before judging them. I think they need a decent stretch of practice time to truly start playing cohesively. Having said that, we are just straight up ice cold as an offensive unit - yes spacing was bad but we had open looks all night that weren't going down. If we make a few of our open shots from last 2 games, it's at least more competitive.

I'm assuming Morey is also giving McHale the benefit of the doubt, but he knows this is a win now team and I hope if this awful play continues into December that we see a new coach. We have looked pathetic on both ends, and TBH it's starting with Harden.

If we start 1-6 which is a distinct possibility, I don't think it's too soon to start questioning whether a coaching change is necessary. You can't wait til midseason if you're hoping to compete this year for a title. If we drop the Orlando game and wind up 0-7, McHale should be fired immediately.

Na I got LP I catch 90 percent of the games. James looks slow and bricking every shot. Reminds me when he had like 10pts in Memphis last year. Harden has always been a guy to bounce back. I take it you don't watch many games...when was the last time Harden shot the ball so poorly back to back in regular season game? I fully expect Harden to go off vs Miami.

Well the performance intensity level was an improvement over the first game. Harrell looked promising, and brought great energy to the game.

Harden's defense was terrific. His shot was horrible. The other parts of his offense were pretty good.

Ariza, and Brewer didn't really look engaged. It almost seems like those guys gave their all last season and since we didn't win, they are kind of just sleep walking out there.

Lawson is pretty good on the offensive end, and pretty bad on the defensive end. Hopefully he'll become accustomed to the team and be really special on the offensive end, and not make bone headed defensive plays like going under screens when guarding a shooter like Curry.

The rest of the guys need to make their shots.

It isn't pretty being 0-2, but it isn't time to panic yet. That time may come, but it's not right now.

The one thing that bothers me the most is that even though a lot of these guys have together longer right now, it seems like they still make the same mistakes a new super young team would make.

That might be coaching, just the players, or other circumstances in the way they've been (or not been) able to practice.

I honestly don't know if a team can win a championship with Harden as their leader, he's just so damaging defensively. Terrible. But I'm sure you can't win it with Harden + Kevin McHale.

    It's just basketball.

I seriously doubt Harden was crying after conference finals.

The Beard did nothing this summer but bang with Khleo Kardashian.
I feel like he would be the most disappointing star this season. Hope it is not true.
