Again, having muscles alone does not attract beauty. It's practical and functional like the city, but little else. You assuming they define aesthetics show the lack of nuances that led to Houston being an "ugly city" and the kind of people settled in it. A good city, but the ugliness can't be denied.

i rarely find may unpleasantly hot. hell i usually find most of june to be quite bearable most years. july-mid september can be a total beat down though.
I really like the Hermann Park area and so does my wife. She's from Toronto so Houston was an adjustment but she's liking Houston more and more.. There are decent places in Houston. We're not Vancouver.. Lol but we have jobs and a decent standard of living. I ain't moving.
May is generally a good month. June and September are wildcards. July and August are insufferably hot as balls.

I've made it known here over the years this city sucks and ugly. This is just a place where you get your check and go on vacation 6 times a year at least.

Not exactly a cheap place, Vancouver. If there weren't extenuating circumstances, that's the one place I would move to in North America (if Trump gets elected all bets are off though ). I agree with most, Houston has some really, really nice spots, especially inner-loop and out in the burbs around the lakes/parks/coast. Really miss the ethnic makeup of the city the most, I think. The humidity always killed me though, I am so much happier on a 106' dry day in Central Texas than I ever was on a ~95' day with ~90% humidity on the coast.
