Can't really say I'm surprised, but everyone else is surprised by Fitzgerald and Palmer on my team. Also Brady not getting suspended was a nice surprise. Also never would have thought Ingram would be the 2nd ranked RB so far. Biggest disappointment has been Hill, but I never felt good about drafting him in the first place.
whats the rest of your roster look like? if you have the depth to take the risk of him turning it around then sure, but if you don't it might not be worth it unless hurns is going to see a decent amount of playing time
I just lost Foster and my other RB's in standard league CJ Anderson, Hillman, Yeldon, and Michael at the moment. Lacy owner is offering me Lacy, Rishard Mathews, and Alex Smith for Cam Newton, Chiefs D, and CJ Anderson. Cam is my backup. I have Aaron Rodgers so Smith would be my backup and i have Carolina as my other D. He has Matt Ryan too, I might try to get him but not a killer if I don't get him. Should I pull the trigger?
Your rbs suck so I would absolutely take this deal. Newton really isn't good of a fantasy player unless he runs for a td. Anderson is super busty and Hillman is getting the snaps and you have him. Backup defenses are irrelevant. Lacy hasn't been good but he did better second half of last year also and the thought is he well get more carries as it gets colder.Lacy has more upside than Anderson. IMO absolutely take the deal.
Anyone starting LaFell this week? Deciding between giving him a go today or Kendall Wright against us on Sunday. Any opinions?
The good news is he saw targets last week. The bad news is that was mostly game-flow related as the Patriots completely abandoned the run. The further bad news was how many targets he dropped. With the Patriots you never know what the game plan is going to be, so it is difficult to know how things will change from week to week. I expect a lot of targets will be passed on to Dion Lewis if he does return. My advice would be to wait and see on LaFell this week.
Ew. Maybe pick up Donteea Dye and play him. Nobody knows who he is but he caught a touchdown last week and is currently TB's #2 receiver.
Question of my own: Who should I start at WR (I'm already starting AJ Green, just need a WR2) out of John Brown @CLE, Jeremy Maclin vs. DET, or Randall Cobb @DEN. Normally Cobb starts no matter what, but their offense hasn't done much the last couple of weeks, and now they're on the road against a top notch defense.
I am pretty high on Maclin this week. TD potential is low so he's usually a better PPR play. Detroit game-flows seem to turn into pass-happy affairs. If KC's run game isn't working early, I suspect they will start throwing on Detroit's poor secondary. John Brown has suddenly been Arizona's #1 although who knows how that will change. Plenty of options in that attack so its a crapshoot week to week. Cleveland has also been susceptible to the run game, which combined with game-flow concerns due to McCown's injury could mean less of a workload for the passing game. If I'm playing DFS this week I would strongly consider a Chris Johnson / Arizona D stack as that game could get out of hand quickly. Cobb does face the unenviable task of matching up against Denver's tough corners, but they will move him around a bit. I think he will perform decently but will Green Bay be in a position to throw against Denver? If Peyton can't move the ball against them and they get into a lead, they'll probably be content to pound Lacy and Starks.
Game flow is basic lingo and is nothing compared to game theory. Berry is a hack and I would rather listen to some pair of t*** on NBCSports views on fantasy advice. Go look at Berry's twitter account and see who he follows. You'll find out pretty quickly that all his "info" is just being regurgitated from the real pros.
Just messin with ya. The only reason I watch the ESPN deal is for their rankings... get an idea of where my players place on the overall spectrum by position. Besides that, this dude is a hack. If you ever do watch most of his sleepers are truly duds and he has no idea how to figure out a good player between a one hit wonder. Cordarelle Patterson = fantasy football god Scrub
Can't sit Landry, especially in PPR. He is officially a stud... and has been even before the Texans debacle.
