No, restricted. Rox have rights to match but don't hold your breath, almost certain one will be renounced

Especially since he (smith) signed so cheap with the clips. I expected we would lose him to more money, but he actually went for even less money to a team we bested. I really think it was purely smith who just felt disrespected or something. Would love to know what went on behind closed doors with him.

What more could they have done? They already offered him the most money and the best chance to win. Who knew that he'd be swayed by the hand job Chris Paul gave him during his visit?

It will be interesting to see how much we value D-Mo because I think he will get paid nearly superstar money in the new cap if healthy. Certainly hope that we are able to retain him. If we do well this year and are right on the brink, I think Morey bites the bullet.

Jones has to be a goner either way, even if he makes strides this year he just doesn't fit well with this team.

Horford would just about be my dream scenario.

Who knows what might happen between now and then, but it is really hard to see anyway of that happening.

    Valanciunas and MKG.
Ross is 50-50 and so is Waiters. Still 5 more days.
oh and about non rookie extensions Denver extended Gallinari and Wilson Chandler.
Also talks reported on Sully and Zeller in Boston but still nothing new so far.

I wish their agents come out some time soon and start leaking some info on the difference. Last year when Knight and Middleton were discussing their numbers an insider (agent??) leaked all the juicy info.
It would be nice to know what they are looking for. Particularly DMO.

I can see dmo getting around tristan thompson money, if hes healthy he has a great skillset for his size, and near impeccable work ethic, and the ability to play 2 positions (his back concerns me though). You dont find bigs like that often, even if jones turns into a 15 and 10 guy 6'9 to 6'10 forwards with jones' skillset seem to everywhere theese days.

Surprised at what valanciunas signed for, I think raptors got a steal, as far as MKG I dont think he would have gotten much different in the offseason guy just cant shoot. Im with you I would like to hear some numbers leaked. More dmo than jones also.

There's no point signing extensions for either the two, terribly disappointed with the way TJones has played, virtually no improvement from last year so why give him an extension? With his crap play chances are he's not gonna get big offers even with the increased cap, IMHO Harrel has already outplayed him so far which is just embarrassing.

DMO is in the same boat, he was supposed to be ready by training camp but the season started and he still hasn't recovered, why sign him for multiple years and risk getting Oden 2.0? Plus unlike TJones DMo would probably make bank in FA so maybe his agent is telling him to risk it unless he gets a ridiculous offer.

TLDR: Right now letting the extension pass pass is the right move for both parties.

Only problem with trading 1 of them soon is their contracts wont bring back much, other than players on a rookie deals or second to third tier players. Unless picks are involved, or some bigger deal happens. I could be wrong but I would expect a sign and trade in the offseason before an in season trade. Honestly im not sure morey would give that thompson money to either at this point.

And roslolian your right, I think its the smart play from both parties to not sign extensions. It kind of makes me feel a little better about dmos back too by him not signing an extension, it tells me he feels like he'll soon be 100% or close and be able to play his way into more money. If he would have signed a low extension I'd be concerned he was trying to lock in some security in case he was never 100% again.

T Wolves or Sixers will probably pay them top dollar.

There could be 20 or so teams with big money to blow I can see twolves chasing jones they need a PF and he fits their style. I dont think dmo or tjones want to play second fiddle to young guys the 76ers are trying to develop and they seem pretty set with noel and okafor on the frontcourt I think they'll be chasing baccourt guys. The lakers and mavs will probably make offers to dmo and I wouldnt be surprised if the spurs made a run at him hes a pop kinda guy. Its just too early to tell.

There's less than 5% chance that the Wolves go after either of our RFAs and 0% chance Philly does. Look elsewhere. (Wizards, Pistons, Toronto, Mavs, Phoenix, Portland).

I guess they didn't specify whether that impact was a good or bad one.

I think your a little off with minny I think with a frontcourt of towns wiggins and jones they could be an intriguing young team but your 100% right about philly. The lakers, mavs and possibly portland will be the teams throwing money around and those teams have weak front courts and can offer PT which ultimately will be the biggest factor for theese guys at this stage in their careers.
