Well, he's only had two, and he made changes both times - in fact, Kubiak was fired when the team was technically 2-11 - and that was in the same season he nearly literally died on the sidelines and the team was less than a year removed from their second consecutive playoff appearance. As Cannonball has pointed out repeatedly, there's been one legitimate season in which McNair would have been justified in firing his coach but didn't: 2010. But he did (correctly) diagnose the problem and forced the head coach's hand, which led to them finally hiring an experienced defensive coordinator who helped usher in the two most successful seasons in team history. Here are Capers' win totals: 4 5 9 2 - and he was fired. Here are Kubiak's: 6 8 8 9 6 10 12 2 - and he was fired. McNair has been patient - but not to a fault, IMO. When the train has gone off the rails, he has acted.

Kareem Jackson (sprained right ankle) not practicing, won't play this week. Brandon Brooks (toe) is back at practice, expected to play J.J. Watt is dealing with "a minor injury" and O'Brien says he'll be able to play. Jadeveon Clowney was sick. #Texans J.J. Watt has a minor back issue O'Brien: thinks Su'a-Filo is getting better, had some "decent" plays vs. Miami, and "practiced well last week". BOB: Bob won't address lack of speed on defense. BOB: @clownejd is a disruptive player and he's getting better. He's still a rookie because he didn't play much last year. "I'm dealing with a minor back injury and I expect to play Sunday," JJ Watt. "You're expected to get sacks when you play in this defense. That's your job," J.J. Watt says on if Clowney was ribbed for 1st sack. #Texans George Godsey: Poor offensive starts a whole unit issue. Godsey on new #Texans QB T.J. Yates: "We are on to T.J. here and it's about catching him up. He has a ways to go." George Godsey: 'For us to start the game that way is unacceptable. We've worked to correct it.' George Godsey: Thinks continuity in O-line should improve running game. George Godsey on Jaelen Strong: 'Each practice, it's getting better with him. I expect it to keep improving.'

Mariota practiced today http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/10/28/tennessee-titans-marcus-mariota-injury-update
They don't really need quick hit players, average hit players will leave Cushing in his tracks and Joseph diving at dirt.
They are horrible but the tail end of the most recent 2-14 season was without a doubt the most boring.
I remember the Titans fans all clamoring about how great things were after their win in the first game of the season (1st place! lol...)......now they are back down to earth.....in the pits with the Texans fans.
