So much was made about bringing back most of last year's team. But what good is continuity when there is so little on-court chemistry. I don't know what the problem is exactly but I'm wondering how many games it will take Morey to recognize this. Harden and Howard had absolutely no chemistry together last year and I'm sensing we'll see the same this year (or worse - the entire team fails to gel)

But the problems with this team go beyond that - we're a terrible rebounding team, turn the ball over habitually, and shoot more threes than our 3P% merits. When we get down (like we have in this game), we're wholly dependent on hail-mary threes to get back in the game. James' total disinterest in any part of the game that doesn't involve the ball in his hands is maddenning - I wonder how good he'd look if a coach demanded he play defense on every possession and made him move some when off the ball.

Dwight and Dmo coming back won't solve any of these issues (with the exception being that Dwight will help a bit with the boards). Expecting to win a championship when our only weapon is James going off on Offense is foolish.

 

That's unacceptable. The entire point of training camp and the preseason is to get into shape. They've had a month to do it, so I don't wanna hear any BS that they're not ready.

 

unprepared. forget the shots not going in, how can we be this bad defensively? jones is like old yeller. on his last leg. dwight can't get back soon enough.

 

Hey, lets jack a bunch of threes but we have no shooters on our roster!

Like I said they might be resting on their laurels from last years finish. The players didn't show up

Getting embarrassed at home by a Nuggets team that wasn't even supposed to make the playoffs, No-one can buy a bucket, Harden putting up bricks all night,and no effort on defense, just terrible all around b-ball.
