Am I foolish to hold onto Deangelo Williams hoping Bell won't play at some point in the future, even if for a game or two? I'm thinking of dropping Williams or Sproles for Willie Sneed.
definitely Snead is a much better value than Deangelo. Bell is a monster; don't suspect he'll get hurt
My team sucks, waiver help? Standard ESPN 2QB league. QB1: Rodgers QB2: Luck RB1: Gurley RB2: Lewis WR1: Green WR2: Evans TE: Kelce FLEX: Moncreif DTS: Texans K: McManus BENCH: J Thomas LaFell Watkins EMPTY EMPTY Wavier top picks - Hillman, McFadden, Mariota, Manning, Austin, Packers, Vikings, J Reed, Snead, Andrews, Vereen, Davante Adams, M Bennett, Abdullah Just traded Carr/Martin for Luck/Kelce (I picked up Carr of the waivers last week for MAnning)
trying to add Jordan Reed now on waiver wire, so need to figure out least valuable bench player out of few "quality" 1st half of season underwhelming unreliable options. My RB #1 + #2 not too bad with Latavius Murray + Doug Martin ...but who should I drop out of either CJ Anderson OR Ameer Abdullah OR Melvin Gordon. OR I can also drop my 4th WR Davante Adams (but kinda like his being on high powered Packers offense). pick my least valuable player por favor!
Honestly I would drop Adams. He is not high enough on the pecking order to warrant fantasy consideration. CJA, AA, and MG have all been massive disappointments so far, but things can change quickly in this league. I wonder if Abdullah will be utilized better with a new OC in Detroit.
Who are yall's "surprise" players and disappointing players so far this season? Surprise Player = Chris Johnson. I honestly don't even remember why I drafted him, just pure dumb luck. Disappointing = Blount. But to his defense its mainly due to the Patriots offensive game plans from week to week.
Surprise = Devonta Freeman, he's been unbelievable Disappointing = Golden Tate. He played really well last year, I know it was when Calvin was out, but you would think Detroit would get him the ball a bit more when they are full strength.
Well we can all admit that nobody saw the Devonta Freeman explosion coming. I was honestly expecting lower-end WR1 production out of Hopkins, but he's far exceeded all expectations right now as the league's WR1. Todd Gurley was falling even further down ADP lists around draft time and now that looks like a huge misstep by everyone who doubted how he would recover and when he would contribute. Missing those first few games definitely hurt, but he's making up for it. People who passed on Le'Veon Bell to draft Jamaal Charles, Eddie Lacy Lynch and even Peterson are probably kicking themselves now. CJ Anderson and Jeremy Hill were considered low-end RB1s you could scoop up and roll with all season. Whoops. Melvin Gordon has been a huge disappointment but I saw signs of that coming with San Diego's approach before it happened. His inability to catch passes meant Woodhead would be stealing most of his snaps, and San Diego's defensive woes would mean less and less of Gordon. His fumble issues have only buried him deeper. As much as I pat myself on the back for staying away from Gordon, I completely missed by putting faith in Ameer Abdullah. I thought after week 1 I had struck gold, but Detroit's defense has made sure Theo Riddick is getting most of the snaps after they inevitably fall behind. Like Gordon, Abdullah's fumbling issues have only made it harder for him to succeed despite the injuries in Detroit's backfield giving him a plethora of opportunities. Chris Ivory and Doug Martin should have been going much higher in drafts and if you picked one of them up late you look like a genius now. Virtually all of last year's rookie WR phenoms are underperforming relative to what they did last year. With Evans and Beckham it was inevitable as their production rates were not realistically sustainable. Watkins is hurt and Jordan Matthews has disappeared. Brandin Cooks has been a huge disappointment relative to his expectations. Andrew Luck vs Andy Dalton and Blake Bortles: Further proof that drafting a QB high is stupidity. Extremely disappointing offenses: Eagles, Broncos, Colts
Gurley for me. I also had freeman and Coleman, but dropped Freeman after Coleman was starting (small benches and wanted to pick up Matt Jones)
No idea who to start, if someone wants to help me out it'd be much appreciated. I can start 2 RB's, 2 WR's, and a flex WR options: Dez Bryant, ODB, Diggs, Fitz RB options: Miller, Bernard, Hillman, Starks, Stewart Do I ride Diggs hot streak? Try my luck with a limited Dez without Romo? Which RB's should get the start?
Pick 2 in a PPR league (have Mike Evans and John Brown as locks): Randall Cobb @ DEN Donte Moncrief @ CAR Willie Snead vs. NYG Nate Washington vs. TEN
I have just been offered Lacy and Hurns for my Forsett and Austin. Do we think Lacy can turn it around? I'm very tempted, as I think Lacy's ceiling is higher than Forsett's.
