I'm not trying to be a hater of David because he's the best young big we've had in the league since maybe kg or Tim Duncan but this is what I was talking about in the other thread. A dominant wing is just so much more important than a domiant big in the new NBA. The zone has really taken the game away from big guys. Now this game is a really bad indicator because he's playing the defending champs on their ring night and the Pelicans roster is depleted, but he's just not ready to be called the best player in the NBA it was premature yesterday and it's premature now. He can create offense for himslef but he struggles with tough defense and he really doesn't make his teamates better yet. All this should improve over time but the guy is only 22. Steph curry is playing really good tonight.
Nice win for the Warriors but they must cut down on those turnovers. Warriors had some lackluster plays due to having a big lead? Last 4 minutes of play were horrible.
Curry needs to be roughed up all year long like Harden is, then let's see how good he is. The entire NBA needs to test him. I don't think he stands the test.
According to Bill W, Marc Gasol is a 7 time all star even though he's only been twice. Media is catering to the crowd.
Channeling my inner JVG and putting out an absolutely crazy and will never ever happen but fun idea. In games were a team is heavily injured or supremely over matched by the other team, the lesser team should get a 15-20 point buffer to start the game, or maybe even the 2nd half. I wonder how many team can overcome that type of buffer consistently? Probably only the Warriors, Spurs, Thunder and Rockets based on talent and previous experience. Each of those teams has the talent, system or the experience to overcome big leads and fast. The Clippers seem like a team that will crash and start forcing bad shots and turnovers when they get down pretty big and Memphis just plays too slow. I think it would be pretty fun and potentially epic to watch a comeback instead of the usual blowout by the 3rd quarter.
why all the hate for Curry? he is an incredible player, doesn't play dirty....why hate on him? just because he is a media darling? come on, just enjoy a great player playing the game!!! stop being such envious losers....ROX fans are much better than that
No new season intro on TNT? Might not be such a bad thing since it would be all Warriors footage. My ow my, I've never seen so much slobbering over a team, a city and the whole bay area. Bringing in the GM / owner, Adam Silver saying it's the area where most innovation in the world comes from, best fans, teams supposedly getting players just to beat them. It's really funny to me how when we added Josh Smith it was all question marks, risky etc. Now the Clippers add him and Lance and not one word about stupidity at its best? All ball hogs, low IQ, looked pretty bad in the pre-season? So glad we have more games on ESPN with knowledgeable discussions pre and post game + half-time.
