no matter what harden does, the league will never give him mvp... the media hates him and they are the ones that vote on awards like that
think rockets fans (myself included) will enjoy the season much more if we stop trying to measure Harden up to curry. Harden is still a top 5 player at the very worst; just appreciate that. I just don't see Harden outplaying Curry even though I think it was pretty close in the regular season last year. The real question as the season goes on is seeing if we can be a better team than GSW; which will take a while to figure out.
You can call me hater, but Curry is doing this against Ish Smith. Guy who would be bench warmer for every playoff team. I know it looks good and spectacular, but stop acting like he will be doing this every game of the season and making him look like a God. We can see that on defense he is nowhere to be found. Like Ty said, make him work on defense and then see how good he is on offense.
This really is the case. Curry got love from the media for NOT playing in 4th quarters. Harden is already hearing questions like "Lawson's going to take the ball out of Harden's hands. Will he take a step back?" It's all about the media narrative. That is the only factor.
ish smith is balling! curry won't be able to hide with harden and lawson. he'll have to guard someone on our team this year!
