We should all know that Mallett doesn't drive by this point. His car stalls after three tries to turn it on.

Face it - if Case Keenum were in Mallet's position he would never have acted like this. This is what happens when an organization is run by the good ole boys.

OK so it didn't go down in the most ideal way, but did you see the velocity he had when he threw that phone? There's some real potential there.

Bobby the great was his driver.

Although he couldn't find Mallet, Bobby still gave him five stars based on his upside as a future uber rider.

I cant believe the Texans left themselves in this crappy situation. They couldve used Quessenbery...but they IR'd him. They couldve cut Mallett this weekend, and hoped Tom Savage was healthy enough as a back up, but they IR'd him as well.

They better have 2-3 QBs in here tom working out, cut Mallett Wednesday AM. I cant even believe Im thinking Im gonna say this...they should sign Tim Tebow...smdh...i cant believe I said that...

That boy Mallet has a nasty disgusting demeanor more than Harden and I thought that was impossible.

BOB is probably still lobbying for it and Rick Smith is telling him to go get his shine box.

I thought Obrien had full roster control? I thought Rick smith didn't do anything?

Cut the former franchise WR because you thought he was done, no problem. And you were right.

Cut down to 75 & 53, no problem.

    Cut the kicker, no problem

Cut Ryan Mallett? Oh no, no, no, no, no! You can't do that!

    LOL Bull****.

Smith has probably agreed to trade Hoyer to the Browns for a 7th rounder after next week or something?

A source with knowledge of the situation told SportsRadio 610 on Monday that, “Mallett would have been walking home from South Beach” if the Texans had a suitable QB to take his spot.

In his press conference on Monday, head coach Bill O’Brien said him and General Manager Rick Smith were handling the matter internally. Typically NFL teams use Tuesday as the day to try out possible replacement players for their roster.

They just undermined Obrien. How can the players respect him now?

He has the mentality of a college coach and that's a real problem. Also, knowing that O'Brien wanted Mallett cut before the game makes the situation when Hoyer completely missed a wide open Nuk Hopkins on 3rd down and he ran right over to Mallett to talk to him even that much more interesting.

I honestly think BOB has lost the locker room.

Why would the players respect him in the first place? He's got a college mentality, and he's hurt the team by running guys out of town over and over again due to essentially temper tantrums.

They ran out Martin, NE picked him up, they ran out Swearinger, he was immediately claimed, they ran out Nix, he plays for the Giants now....maybe the players are tired of the coach running guys out of town like he's a college coach canceling scholarships?
