    I know.

On one hand I think he's not our guy. On the other, I hope he is because of responses like this, when asked dumb questions.

    2-5
    1-5

Geez! That's ugly! As bad as the Texans are they might still get to play the 2nd place schedule again next year.

Neither of those would have helped them yesterday.

Right...but you need to start somewhere.

You cant get 40+ new players over night, so it's just about getting the right pieces, one step at a time.

When it was mentioned yesterday that the Texans should have drafted Bridgewater or Carr, some people (specifically Bobby), mentioned that it wouldnt have helped yesterday.

    That's basically missing the point.

It's missing the point by a large margin. Less holes = better.

We shouldn't make any moves until we identify the one move that would have made a difference yesterday.

Well you posted in the Texans v Dolphins thread. Forgive me for referencing that game. Even outside of this game, my point is still that plugging in a player here or there wont teach players how to tackle, or not drop passes, or be in the right position to make a play. Fundamental problems that need to be addressed this season BEFORE the draft.

This season is over. Time to move on to the draft.

What do you expect them to do? They can't exactly go out and replace everybody. It's week 8. Everybody who's a free agent is still a free agent for a reason. All they can do right now is try to fix what they already have.

Mallett has to be cut. Period. There is NO questions about that. You cant have a idiotic backup, bag of rocks for a QB...who has shown complete lack of respect and integrity in what has turned out to be a disastrous season. If you havent lost the locker room...you will if he isnt gone. That is accountability.

There are way too many weaknesses in the defense to suggest that RAC should be let go...that being said, after witnessing that first half 41-0 bludgeoning, why the heck is he still on this team?

Why not...the dude cares about the deeply about the game...and doesnt act like an idiot. He just needs to prepare behind Hoyer and be ready just in case. There is no way I think that he is a QB option, but you cant stay with Mallett. He dumber than bricks, and has zero potential as a real starting QB option for anyone.

    Bob doesn't care.

He makes huge sums of money regardless of the garbage put on the field.

He also knows all he has to do is make a coaching change and fools will automatically think they turned the corner.

This team deserves an Astros like treatment. And I challenge fans to NOT show up Sunday. Burn your tickets. Dont spend a dime for parking and stay home...And watch other real professional teams. The Rockets start Wednesday...support a winning franchise.

Somehow I believe you will regret it a thousand and one times the first time he has to take a snap.
