Mallet is far worse under pressure.

    0-16 anyone?

And then if there's no pressure...he still sucks.

What's worse...being bad under pressure, but good when there isnt pressure...

Or being bad under pressure, but equally inept when there isnt pressure?

You realize that you are literally the ONLY person on here that agrees with your hot take, right? The front office, coaches, and analysts agree with us as well.

You're on your own island, continually digging yourself deeper and deeper and deeper.

I feel bad that we've tried to give you opportunities to bail yourself out, but you keep going in the wrong direction.

    Mallet under pressure vs. Carolina:

He completed just 5-of-20 passes aimed over 10 yards in the air, and the bulk (-6.2) of his negative grade came under pressure, where he failed to complete even a single pass, going 0-for-16.

    Mallet "improves" under pressure.

He goes from stinky poop to diarrhetic horse dung.

All of you can feel free to be wrong if you like, it really doesn't bother me one way or the other. If you watched Hoyer in the first half against KC and Miami and still think he's the better option....well I can't help you.

Dude. Give it up. You can go back to talking bad about Andre and Bridgewater. This has become more annoying.

Sure, Hoyer has struggled here and there...so have 95% of QBs in the NFL. The problem with Mallett is that he has done nothing but struggle. You honestly dont see the difference?

LOL here and there? Hoyer has struggled 100% of the time he's been on the field when it hasn't been garbage time or playing the Jags.....and not just "struggled", he's had 2 of the worst performances by a QB I've ever seen.

Again, feel free to be baffled by garbage time inflated stats and games against the Jags if you like, but even Mallett had a 110+ QB record when he came in the game for garbage time.

Hoyer has only played in garbage time and Mallet has only played when the game is close.

    Amazing coincidence!

Hoyer is REALLY good at creating garbage time.

Mallet looked so-so against TB... Hoyer looked good against Jax.

Both wins, both similar opponents, Mallet had the advantage of playing at home.

Regardless of it all, its truly r****ded that you're still trying to have this discussion.... you're actually trolling yourself now.

So now beating an NFL team, even if its the Jags (who beat the Bills yesterday), is something that should just be dismissed?

How did Mallett do against the Bucs? 5.85 ypa...75 rating. He did worse against that crap team than Hoyer has averaged in his career.

It's so amusing that Mallett used the traffic excuse. Does he not realize that 52 of his teammates made the flight, as well as other staff?

As I said, I rode the Beltway into Bush Saturday and there was little to no traffic mid-afternoon. Also, in terminal B, there were very few people flying. I do realize there could have been busier parts of the airport, but it sure didn't seem it.

You have to factor in being a border-line alcoholic, likely hungover, and then drop your IQ several 100 points to be in the full frame of mind Ryan Mallet was likely in.

But hey... Bobby says he'd have a starting job tomorrow if he gets released, and that's really the most important thing right now.

Hoyer sucks and has sucked his whole career including this year.

Mallet was able to trick people into thinking he might be a qb until he actually put the pads on and played and showed himself to be a fraud that throws every pass in the dirt.

Hoyer at least has shown composure throughout this time while Mallet has shown himself to be a b**** and a baby.

Both options are horrible but give me Hoyer the rest of the year and replace Mallet with a street FA.

I just can't wait for the "new information" this offseason that will have Bobby vehemently defending Hoyer next year the way he is defending Mallett.

Or, or OR!! he's still using hard stuff. When I told my friend about him missing the team flight he said it reminded him of Dexter Manly missing walk arounds for the Super Bowl, when he was using.
