couldn't the dumb guy's innards splash all over him, giving him the zombie smell (like they did a couple of times in the past)?
I went back and looked and it was more the loudness of the gunshot that stunned Glenn and made him fall, they even added in the ringing noise..
About this...(Don't click if you don't want to know as there are a couple of potential spoilers within this spoilered Entertainment Tonight article.) Spoiler As more than a few people have noticed and pointed out tonight Entertainment Tonight has more than likely inadvertently spoiled the fate of Glen with a casting article back in September. Just going to post the link due to an autoplay video: EXCLUSIVE: Has 'The Walking Dead' Cast Paul 'Jesus' Monroe? See First Look Photos From Set!
I hope he hasn't died for two reasons. a) I want more Glenn b) They would have really robbed the audience of a huge, HUGE occurrence in the comic books - one I'm hoping the show follows.
seriously glen and that guy deserved to die. * they were in the middle of a large intersection with room to run, but chose to run into an alley. * in the middle of the alley, there was a fire escape leading up a building, yet they chose to run to the dead end consisting of the garbage dump/ chain link fence. In fact, why the group bothered to stop in the town was puzzling. Even with the two injured members, they could've easily outpaced the trailing herd and outmanuevered other groups of slow ass zombies in the open forest/road.
Spoiler Since many are conjecturing this (including someone that observed the level of the body was too high to be Glenn's) it seems a bit odd that you don't see the other head anywhere and wit all those walkers around grabbing and biting and all that guts all over the place that one of Glenn's arms or legs didn't get grabbed and bitten. On the other hand... you'd also think that Glenn would have long since been dead before too many of his guts would have been yanked out. But... what am I saying, its a TV show about zombies...
It will probably happen in the last episode. Not like episode 3. Too early to do that but I so see his demise later on in the concluding season. It happened I'm the comics so it's a safe bet it will probably happen on the show.
This X10. I think the showrunners even sort of had last minute regrets about it and that's why they released the statement on Talking Dead basically saying "We aren't done with Glenn.... so hold on before we assume he's dead". I'd have to think that they thought to themselves after watching the episode at the last minute that they could see some heat come on the show with how they are doing this. I mean there is no other way to watch that episode in a vacuum, and assume he's not dead. But..... Spoiler There is this thing called the internet. Its pretty much obvious that he's not off the show for sometime, and people will find out one way or another fairly easily. and some Game of Thrones Spoilers Spoiler GOT at least set up very obvious clues that are right in your face if you are paying attention that make it very obvious that resurrecting Jon Snow is a very real possibility IN THAT WORLD. In the Walking Dead world, you can't just cheat the audience that way, and take advantage of them. It ruins credibility, and wreaks of cheap horror film trope. You want to be taken seriously as a artistic show with beloved characters, you can't pull this BS.... IF Glenn is really alive which I'm not 100% sure of even though..... Spoiler Its a given he's still on the show for a long time based on .... the internet. I think it ruins any credibility this show has in dealing with character deaths, and is a mockery of the shows fans to trick them JUST for the sake of tricking them.
