As good as Harden is in the regular season...you can't deny that his post-season stats are not nearly as good.
TMac ever and always elevated his game in the playoffs.
For the teams TMac was playing on...Harden would not have gotten them through the first round either.
As for Lin...dude was injured that playoff v. the Trailblazers, and Harden didn't exactly "show up" for the Rox either. That being said, I don't blame the Rox for releasing Lin...he was not a good fit for this team. You could tell that he wasn't too comfortable with the team and that the team was entirely comfortable with him. We've got Bev now, we got Lawson; we set; things are good. And also Lin looks comfortable and confident playing for low-profile Charlotte. Everything has worked itself out.

Tmac couldn't win a playoff series as a starter for his entire career.

would , could , should, that's called speculation not fact

Why did Morey trade Tmac and Lin?

How did the Rockets do after both of these dudes were traded?

Brewer and Josh Smith and the Clippers' overconfidence are what got us through the playoffs last year. Sometimes you need a bit of luck in the playoffs. It is true that TMac had little if any luck in the playoffs. However that doesn't mean that TMac was a bad player. Even Doc Rivers said that to win the West a team would need "luck".

If you're going make that statement then show me TMac's teammates' PER......

Let's compare Lin's houston teammates with all of TMac's teammates....

If you care about all the facts....

Hey, what do you think about Cuban's team this worse? Better than Les's team?!?!?!?!

    TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Fake 99er.

It's not luck of your entire career you fail .

If you are a true rockets fan you know success in the playoffs are not luck.

Moses malone, dream, didn't rely on luck.

    Harden didn't either.

Harden is far better than mcgrady and beyond better than lin.

Let's just put it this way...had "Charlotte Lin" played alongside TMac against the Jazz back in '08...the Rox would have beaten the Jazz, and would probably have gone on to win the title. And this, even with a bench of Chuck Hayes, Luther Head, Kirk Snyder and a 49-year-old Bobby Jackson. Nuf said. And, don't tell me that rook Scola would have been enough for playoff success because it was Scola's first year and he was still learning the NBA. That team had ZERO talent outside of TMac. And I believe it was that year also that they won 22 games straight.

    Lol . Charlotte lin?!
Mcgrady didn't even play 22 games in the streak.

They had plenty of talent. Why do you think mcgrady got traded?
