Tmac's comments were completely inexcusable. You have to be really full of yourself to show a complete lack of respect to the organization that was currently paying him at the time let alone that was also in the midst of a dogfight against the Lakers.

Now these two guys were warriors. The way Yao came back from that knee contusion in game 1 still gives me goosebumps. Tmac would've sat out with a hangnail (see Toronto game).

Great. Now provide the players that played for their respective teams (i.e. TMac's teammates)

Did TMac ever play with a PG as good as AB when he was dicing up the Lakers in round 2?

That's kinda the point... What are the PERs (or whatever metric to measure quality) of TMac's teammates.... James Harden's?

    Context is tricky yo.

you are a real rockets fan, you remember all the true events that happened.

can't say that for some of these people here.

you sound like a Lin fan cause lin fans say his coaches and teammates bring him down, not letting him be at his full potential.

you deny anything that happened in real life.

I don't understand all this talk about TMac inside a Lin thread. TMac was a warrior. If I recall that game 7 against the Jazz he scored 44 points, had I don't know how many assists and rebounds...but it was a lot; all the while he had defensive specialist Kirilenko guarding him. Yao was injured that playoffs, Rafer Alston was the starting pg, and Luther Head was the sixth man. Mutumbo was 59 years old at the time and Chuck Hayes was the backup center. It was scrub central! Yet, they took that mighty Jazz team (Deron Williams, Boozer, Kirelenko, Okur, etc) to 7 games. TMac did all that he possibly could. TMac did not lose those series, and nor did he lose the series the year before.

TMac was utterly disrespected by Adelman because Adelman wanted to run the Princeton motion offense and TMac simply did not fit. The Rox were looking for every excuse to dump TMac once Adelman took the coaching job. Adelman liked Kevin Martin and Ariza better. At the time it was thought that ARIZA, of all people, was going to be the next TMac...and which made TMac expendable.

Tmac disrespected Adelman and the Rockets.

    Not vice versa.

Nope. Lin's teammates while he was on Roxs were good enough to go to the 1st round in spite of Lin.

I get it.... you 99ers can't do anything without putting words in someone mouth....

    Step yo game up son.

    newbs.

I see what you are trying to do, bringing mcgrady into this discussion because there's nothing really left for you to say about Lin.

and I understand that McGrady fans are absolutely irrelevant now because James Harden just walked all over McGrady's Rockets accomplishments, which were really nothing to be begin with.

It sure does show a pattern that McGrady and Lin fans hate team success and leadership.

that is basically they hate Harden.

All 99ers can do is put words in people's mouth....

No one has said TMac > Harden.

Keep moving those goal posts, you'd fit in on the Texans.... Or maybe it's the cowboys....

Your love of the Mavs has been well documentated.

When newbs question a 99ers loyalty to a site created by 99ers

    they've completely lost.

you troll with 'if tmac was on this different roster?' that's the same argument as Lin needs to be on a team that maximizes his skills

keep trying, maybe you can shine a 99ers shoes one day
