I feel like we played better and deserved to win. Lingard came closest. Oh well

Ancelotti saying he doesn't enjoy Bayern league games, as competition in Bundesliga is not there.

Kinda feel like the missing competition will make Pep leave and also turn guys like Ancelotti and other coaches away, it doesn't seem fun to coach Bayern in a league where now you're basically guaranteed a comfortable 1st place.
We really need to dump the 50+1 rule (rule we have that prevents majority investors from taking over a club), it leads to a lack of money and competitve Bundesliga teams, really hurts the league on the International stage.

That's exactly what we shouldn't do, because it keeps the league healthy. You are always the first one to laugh about the english league and now you want conditions like over there? Overpaid mercenaries with no identity, lack of local talent, unreasonable ticket prices, failing at international competition, embarrasing national team... that's what you want? No, thank you. The other teams have to find a way to close the gap. It's not Bayern's fault, that they're unable to stay competetive. Open the gates for sheiks and oligarchs isn't the answer, just take a look at Hoffenheim.

Abandoning 50+1 doesn't mean clubs lose control over who they make majority owner, won't automatically lead to a EPL situation.
If clubs handle this in careful manner the outcomes can be great for the league, see Wolfsburg or Hoffenheim (Hoffenheim are in a slump right now, but with their youth system are looking at a bright future and stable mid-table results. Hopp also clearly stated he doesn't want a powerhouse, he's happy with a stable club that can finance itself and play in the mid-section of the table).
I think it's safe to assume clubs wouldn't throw themselves into Oligarchs, we have many German companies that would like to help local clubs and wouldn't interfere with Sports management directly.

Right now good players will always leave their clubs because of a lack of a future and better salaries in other countries, the 50+1 rule prevents clubs from competing with other leagues and developing their talent long-term. And the new EPL TV-contract will only continue to make things worse for every German club not named Bayern.

I'm afraid it will lead exactly to that. It would become a race just about who is spending (= burning) more money and the bosses will become greedy. When it comes to money, every professional team would sell their soul.

There's nothing great about Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim, just look at their ridicoulous fan bases. Their patrons have to spend a lot of money, because no sponsor would.
Hoffenheim is in a slump for years now and I really hope they finally go down to 2. Bundesliga this year. What youth system? Did they bring up a relevant player? I don't remember a single one. Hopp isn't spending any more, because he knows, his team will never be accepted by fans and won't sell tickets, merchandise, etc. Hoffenheim matches have the lowest tv ratings, matches of 2., sometimes even 3. Bundesliga have a bigger audience. So this team will never finance itself.

Now that VW is in trouble, they will cut most of the money and Wolfsburg will become irrelevant. The club is completely dependent on the company's money and that shouldn't happen. Wolfsburg will be a pretty good example why we should keep 50+1.

You're using the plural, but I don't see the average spanish, italian or french team paying a lot better than the german, it's just the english. And this one will become a bubble that is going to burst sooner or later. It doesn't matter how much TV money they receive, they'll still get in debts and it will become even more of a problem once they need to get rid of these pointless contracts to create new space.

Klopp gets his first Liverpool Win. I have a feeling some youth players will step up and give Liverpool some much needed new energy.

    lol league cup.

    Have some standard bro.

Arsenal got kicked out because they had mostly scrubs playing. That's not what got me upset though.

What got me upset was that Wenger, the idiot, was playing Ox in the match, and when he got injured in the first few minutes, he decided to replace him with Walcott. Walcott hadnt even warmed up.

Surprise, surprise, Walcott is injured as well after a few minutes. Which means Arsenal is back to Giroud as a lone striker again *laugh*

Wenger lost two players in a meaningless game when his team is already thin on the bench.

    Dumbass.
