broadway was one of my close friends when he was at UH. still keep in touch with him. I was pissed when sumlin let piland start over him when keenum got hurt because "he was better in practice" stupid mistake

Oh nice! Yea i remember I would start "broadway...broadway..." chants at the games. When Keenum went down and Cotton Turner also at the UCLA game, Broadway came in and did some work....I disliked Piland, a lot. He looks like someone I just want to punch for no reason, sorry.
It was a road game but that Smu game when they scored like 80 pts on us on national TV still gives me nightmares.
Games should get a hell of a lot more competitive from here on out. How this patchwork, freshman O-Line is getting it done is difficult to explain. Some really amazing runs today. Hope they can keep it up.
I see it now. They'll go into Navy as a heavy favorite with a chance to make the final 4.... Then it'll be a rain game and they'll fumble it 7 times.
I hate to say it, but I feel that we'd have to run the table two years in a row to be in contention for the CFP. Run
If Ole miss wins the sec and temple beats Notre Dame who later beats Stanford who wins the Pac 12, would we have a decent argument after running the table.
It's usually a lot more possible than it first looks. Florida St and Utah went down last night. By the time we get to picking 4 most of those teams ahead of us will have lost a game. I personally think it would be very hard to keep any of the American teams out of the final 4 inspite of the media's ridiculous unwritten rule of having to do it two years in a row. There are 6 games left. We are #19. Only a handful of one loss teams could outweigh us due to unfair favoritism, Alabama being one of them, LSU another, and Ohio State. I think we get past the rest by the end of the season. Keenum got us all the way to 5, and there is no reason to think we cannot do that again playing through two-three ranked teams and Vandy. I've seen enough Houston Cougar football to know that we may get tripped up, however, I've also seen enough college football to know that almost all of the teams ahead of us will get tripped up too. So if we run the table, we'll get a shot.
If going into the Memphis game we both stay undefeated and we beat them. We'd probably drag our rankings up to around 10, plus Navy is about to get ranked and that's our last game of the season. I don't think Temple can hold on to a high ranking because they play Notre Dame
