Hey, Mitch, Morey got Lawson for FREE, no need to be sarcastic about getting George. DMo fits Indiana's vision, they're kinda in a rebuild mode, George unhappy. I know it's very unrealistic, but so is 90% of trade proposals in here. Mine isn't even the most delusional here.

there really isn't any real opportunity to get a high impact high salary guy the way our cap is set up. the most we could possibly see is low end fodder trades for role players/end of bench players. its going to be extremely difficult to manage trades against the hard cap and having to match dollar for dollar.

That's not Pablo. Besides the guy I want to trade for on the Clips is JSmoove. The money and the fit is perfect.

AC Green, Horace Grant, Robert Horry, John Sally were the power forwards on some of the most successful teams in the last 20 to 30 years.

I'd happily throw Dekker in a deal to upgrade the PF spot too , I'm not at all high on him.

Dekker makes $1.64m .... that still leaves you $2.39m short (plus two roster spot cap holds) in a 3 for one deal.

    T.Jones - $2.489
    KJ - $3.189
    Dekker - $1.64

    Gibson - $8.5

    Two roster holds - $1.014 ($507k rookie min x2)

    $2.196 shortcoming in that trade.

Hard to make trades because all the rosters are almost full too. Detroit or Chicago can't take on 3 players-not to mention Dekker+KJ+Jones is way way too much value for Taj Gibson.

May I remind all that Taj Gibson is 30 y.o and is very injury prone and has had a surgery by season end?

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nrntef6

    OUT:
    T. Ariza
    T. Jones
    C. Capela
    M. Harrell
    Future 1st Round Pick

    IN:
    D. Cousins

    Lawson/PatBev
    Harden/Thornton/JET
    Brewer/Dekker
    Boogie/DMo
    Howard/Free Agent

Perhaps you could wait till Dec. 14th and trade McDaniels/Dekker/Thornton instead of Ariza

I like your aggressiveness, but Ariza has looked like our MVP all preseason. I'd hate to lose him. And Capela has so much upside.

Ya I'd rather not lose Ariza or Capela, but could you imagine Boogie and D12 in the paint?!

Ainge counters with Dallas first rounder, Brooklyn first rounder, Boston first rounder and Rozier Sully and Zeller and Avery Bradley.

If there's a superstar like Cousins or Paul George on the market the most assets are in Boston and Philly. Rockets can't beat their offers and both their GMs are opportunistic vultures.

I was just pointing out that .... the math is very difficult to make work because of the cap situation - Not that I approve of any trade mentioned here lately as most of them are .... where's that brain freeze image ....

I don't think I've seen a good trade idea since they signed Harrell ....

Robert Horry is not walking through that door.

Tim Ducan, Pau Gasol, Chris Bosh, Kevin Garnett, and Rasheed Wallace were also power forwards on some of the most successful teams in the last 20 years.

So true, the point was every team has some less than all stars players at spots in their line up. ( maybe less Rasheed Wallace's Pistons. ) We need role players that are Ariza like to fill in the gaps between our all stars not more all stars. Solid players that play with in their TEAM roles and have high basket ball IQs makes good teams unbeatable. All Stars with wonderful role players is the key to any championships.

Bulls are letting Noah go after this season, so they're keeping Gibson.

Now the question is, are Jones and DMo Ariza-quality role players?

For me, the answer is not yet. If we want to win now, and if we are 1-2 ariza-esque players away from a top team, one of them has to go in order to get that player.

Oh really Nostradamus? Maybe you should also know that Pau Gasol has a player option next year - at a severely bellow market value contract- and his bro said he will recruit him to Memphis.
So let noah go and Pau leaving...yea that will make sense. Who needs centers after all?
Well both of them are very much younger and inexperienced than Ariza so that's normal. Ariza wasn't like he is now at their age either.

My guess is because Noah looks like crap and will come off the bench. Basically no evidence only making up stuff and passing them on as proof as usual for him.

The most likely players to get traded this season imo are Taj Gibson, Gallinari, W.Chandler ,one of Sullinger/Zeller and then Faried and perhaps C.Anthony and T.Harris and Fournier and Deng. Also one of Jones/DMO.

Gallinari is worth at least a first top 15 pick.
