    Clippers?
    Spurs?
    Grizzlies?
    Thunder?

Those teams are all deeper than we are. Our depth is 8 guys, the starters (including DMo) and then Brewer, Beverley, and Capela. Once we go beyond those 8, we're in trouble.

i'm not that sold on thornton just yet......he went 0-7 last nite, and 2 games before that ended the game with 8 straight misses.......and this is supposed to be his only strength.....if he's not making those open J's then he's basically a liability on the court in other areas

Clippers are really deep with Austin Rivers and Lance Stephenson.

    Budding superstars.

that's how you make through the 82 +playoffs grind - we'll need everyone at some point this year.

No they won't. They've got the right coach to handle those guys. And they fixed their major problem area from last season, which was their backup bigs. Aldrich and Smith are going to be nails for them. And they have as good a chance to go to the Finals as any team in the WC barring major injury.

Aldrich sucks. Smith is good... If they use him correctly

You haven't been paying attention the last 2 seasons. Aldrich has improved. He's a very good quality backup center now.

I guess the NBA hasn't been paying attention either because he barely plays

They didn't pay attention to Whiteside either. And a lot of players. But, Doc knows players. He knows what level they are on and what he can do with them. And he signed Aldrich one week into free agency.

Aldrich is going to be good for the Clippers this year. You watch. Aldrich and Smith are going to make the Clippers bench unit as good or better than our second unit was last season and when we play them our second unit is going to struggle against them unless we get another multi-dimensional, talented big on this roster that is significantly better defensively and on the boards than Terrence or Harrell.

I don't think the thunder are deeper than the rockets

    Westbrook/KD/ibaka/kanter/Adams/

The rest of their players are really not that good. Waiters is hot garbage and the sg for them is good at defense but nothing else I can't remember his name at the moment though.

    Rotation:
    Lawson/Bev
    Harden/Terry
    Ariza/Brewer
    Jones/DMo
    Howard Capela

We're 10 deep. I don't see how these guys aren't getting minutes except maybe Terry. Him and Thornton will be splitting a lot of guard minutes.

Too bad Morey couldnt trade TJones for cap space and a second rounder so that we can resign josh smith for a discount.

    Capella>Aldrich
    DMo>Smith

There's no way the clippers bench is better.

Haven't even brought up Beverley or KJ.

If Doc knew players he never would have acquired Rivers or Stephenson

Spurs lost depth this summer, Grizzlies are about as deep as we are, Thunder are kinda too. I'm trying to remember why I also thought we had the deepest team at some point, probably prior to preseason, when Dekker was promising and not a bust. We have a very solid 8-9 man rotation and that's all you need in the playoffs. Clippers are 10+ deep with names, they are obviously deeper than us. Doesn't matter they have all the crazies, but the fact is they're deeper.

We offered Smith more than the clippers.

With capella, DMo and Jones there was a risk he wouldn't get minutes so he left.

so jones has been a starter most of the games he has played. and now he can't even be mentioned as a "good" player off the bench.

ok you win sir the rockets are "8 deep" and not "9 deep" every opinion you have is correct and set stone as far as i'm concerned.

Clippers have no one to defend the 3.

Using Pierce or Stephenson to guard LeBron and Kawhi and Durant there is laughable.
