Jones cannot guard Green nor Barnes nor Klay nor Curry nor Livingston. Doesn't matter how many times he switches match-ups. He can't guard any of them. Won't work.

Being in the Conference Finals doesn't mean you have a shot at winning a championship. For instance, if Dwight is down and out, we're still in the Conference Finals....for another 3 games....maybe 4. But we do not have a shot at winning a championship.

Being in the Conference Finals is not a shot at a championship. Being in the Finals is a shot at winning a championship.

I think he's referring to the fact that he missed over half the season with freak injuries.

That would be inconsistent health. Not inconsistent minutes. Jones has consistently been in the rotation for 2 full seasons and 2 post seasons now. And when healthy he's gotten consistent minutes.

You are wrong yet again Holic. We are contenders right now. Teams don't make it this deep into the playoff's (Western Conference Finals) and not be considered a contender/or championship caliber team.

    1. Yes you still give Jones 20 + minutes because he could score in bunches. Hasn't he not showed you this in this years post season?

    2. The team as a hold has to play better defensively, not just Jones. Again who was guarding Livingston in the 2nd quarter when the Warriors went on a 25-6 run. RL had 16 points in that quarter.

    3. Yes we can beat the Warriors with Jones logging 20+ minutes.

Terrence will be fine, once he realizes that there is NO one of Blake Griffin's caliber that is playing across him. It takes him some time to get rolling and figure out what his strengths are against an opponent. And I expect TJ to play well in game 2, b/c the Rockets will show him how many chances he really had on offense. The defense was always a liability with him. He is and never will be a good defender. He is just doesnt focus on what the offense does. His length and athleticism may disrupt shots, but he is a total sieve as a defender. That being said, if TJ plays, the Rockets must find a way to mask his liability by playing him along side a stronger interior defender(ie. Howard, Capella, or Dorsey). Having him as the anchor was essentially why the Rockets were never able to close the gap.

Looking at game 6 vs the Clips and this one...The Rockets missed making stops...even though Harden was torching them offensively (and it was the open shot variety/backdoor layup as well). This stems from having a defensive anchor. Something Jones will never be...

Been reading this response for 2 years now. Read this same thing about Andres Biedrins even after he signed his big contract.

No one of Blake's caliber, eh?

How about a whole team of Blake's caliber?

Well anyway, I'm pretty sure that's what he meant. I'd like to see a full healthy season from him to see how much he can improve. He's been better in the playoffs this season than last season, even with the bad game 1 in the WCF.

Been saying it for 2 years. TJones can not be depended on. He needs to go ask the wizard for some heart.

And if we win the Championship this season with Jones starting, what will you say then OP?

I love how everybody thinks they know exactly what it takes to win a Championship in the NBA.

I'm wondering why aren't either one y'all coaching some NBA team by now.

Morey needs to fire McHale and hire someone from here.

    hahahaah

If we win a championship I can assure you it wont be because of TJones. Ive also played and watched enough basketball in my life to be able to recognize that he has no heart....all the talent in the world but no heart.

How do you define "all the talent in the world"? Is this sarcasm?
