No, YOU are naive. No other race has been affected by as much systemic racism as african americans have. This is not debatable. Of course, the more ABUSE an entire race endures, the more detrimental it becomes on that race, the harder it is for that race to elevate itself us, and the easier it is for people like you to gravitate towards racist stereotypes further setting those people back.

Individual blacks do succeed, individual whites fail as well.

I do not agree with you much but you are very much correct here.

OMG, I think you need to change your user name because that is not reality. Quit living in the 60's. This is the 21st century. The only thing holding back anyone black is themselves.

Ignoring the fact that poverty and a lack of education is more often than not inherited.

    simplistic view.

learn to see the world in more detail -- people of the same skin color are not a monolith

    educate yourself

Wow, you expose yourself as a bigger idiot with every post. If black people have a "lesser" education it is because they do not take part in the opportunities provided to them. I am not sure if you are black or not but if you are quit playing the victim card and if you aren't quit playing into the victim card so many blacks try to play.

The Jim Crow laws viewed black people as monolithic when they took away rights of all people because of their skin color. In that aspect, yes, all black americans were affected.

You need to think before you accuse others of being simplistic.

Jim Crows laws have been abolished. Quit living in the past. This is 2015. Quit playing the victim and take advantage of the opportunities in this country. Anything else is an excuse for personnel failure which can happen to ANY race. If you fail try and try again. Failure is not race specific but never trying the the first place has a definite black tone.

Poverty, yes, education however is provided free of charge for a dozen years and encouraged at every step by authority figures to anyone complex or engaged enough to explore and inquire beyond their social anxieties and recreational appetites.

No, as a black guy whose third world immigrant parents had multiple graduate degrees before any of their kids were born, I understand the opportunity cost of devaluing hard work, intellectual curiosity or collaborative engagement and interaction in the most dynamic and prosperous society of its size on the planet.

Authority figures will never be as important as parents emphasizing education especially from ages 0-5. The only authority figure that has access to that child education wise at that young of an age are the parents.

So you don't know how it is to be raised by parents that lack higher education.

Poverty and lack of education are in fact very correlated. Your entire post is garbage based on a false premise.

That is not much different than what you were saying in previous post.

You're right. Hard work is irrelevant, because people with poor backgrounds who work hard enough to get an education encourage their kids to work hard in school.

to the contrary, neither of my parents were "educated" beyond high school. They did work hard in life and succeeded which is what they taught me.

You once again framed your arguments in the context of social factions, and accused a non-black veteran of playing the idiot race card. Can't just buy a jersey and sing the fight song, man, you gotta go to practice and learn the playbook.
