Feel free to share those mind reader insights you have that made you 100% certain every employee there was a hood wear klansman out to get Henson.

 

Not sure I agree with everything here, but there is a LOT of truth to what is written here. A lot of real talk that is not always considered politically correct today. You've put into words what I've long called the "racial pity party". People can always find some reason to paint themselves as a victim. Better to make a change rather than drowning in your sorrows and continuing the pity party.

 

Only Bigtexxx could find "A lot of truth" to that post and "A lot of real talk"

Seems some people just are not smart enough to realize that black people aren't monolithic. You try to explain simple things to them and it just never connects.

To Caeser's post I ask...why is it on me to change how other black people behave? That's dumb as hell. Is it on BigTexxx to change the minds of other white people? Next time there's a white guy that shoots up a place or another white serial killer lets all make sure to question white culture and why other white people aren't doing their best to change this.

 

I certainly realize this point. I respect hard working, people of strong morals, family-oriented people of all races, including many blacks.

 

If for every 1 classy black citizen there are 5 aggressive thugs running around posting videos on WSHH, getting in the news for violent crimes or blasting the media with images of cocaine with guns and drug money lying everywhere, a perception is formed.

If you don't want to fit the stereotype , you have to go out of your way to make a change. If you're too lazy and entitled to do that, be cognizant enough to know that in some part of someone's mind you will be judged based on a physical attribute. Unfortunately, you don't seem to have the intelligence to do either. There are countless examples of people who won't play the victim, from a good looking blonde will have to go out of their way to prove they're more than a secretary in any work setting, and YES, it is on them to do that. Caesar's post pointed out the obvious - people don't have enough time to sit around and give everyone the benefit of the doubt because of 15-20 PC measures. We are not all born equal - everyone has their strengths and you need the intelligence to adapt.

This story, as proven earlier, had no racist roots whatsoever. Henson was exposed as a whiny, entitled millenial who used his status to try to shame a private business when all they did was follow protocol. J Ling does the same to mask the fact he doesn't have the bball IQ to play on a good team.

15 years ago, Jai Z said "All us blacks got is sports and entertainment."

And now we've had a black President for 8 years because he grew up getting it. The era of excuses left black America long ago - step up.

 

If so, I doubt there is much you'd agree with in that post.

I simply ask people to think harder and throw away antiquated racial ideas that science itself has thrown away.

Unfortunately, you don't have the intelligence to do so.

It's been proven that what we perceive as race is complete BS. Science proved it decades ago. Continuing to do so is intellectually lazy - step up.

 

They actually saw his car first and that put them on alert because a similar car was used in a previous robbery. In addition, the calls asking about closing time and inventory made them suspicious to begin with.

But as soon as they saw Henson, were suspicious of him, called the police, and asked police to stay after verifying details, that was all racist. Henson certainly did not look like the two black males who robbed the store as seen on the security camera, and he was not a white male responsible for a recent robbery.

It almost did seem like a perfect storm of previous robberies, similar vehicles, and suspicious calls keeping the store on alert. But, Henson may have made those calls because he came near closing time, probably after practice, and was interested in their Rolex inventory to buy one for himself.

 

You're wrong and you should step back about my claims. I didn't say the people were racists. They may or may not be, but like I said, the action they took was an act of racism.

Now to your point of the store being on alert.

I don't know their hearts or minds. But should a store on alert mean black people can't come in? I don't understand how that would somehow get rid of the racism involved.

 

You are fighting the good fight, but not against worthy opponents. Honey Bear is a joke or a troll or both. texxx is a troll who probably doesn't even believe the crap he posts.

Honey Bear's own comments say all that needs to be said about him and his supposed attitude. Who knows how much of what he posts he believes and to what extent. He's been busted embellishing his own claims to try and have an effect on readers here so IMHO it doesn't help anyone to take him seriously and engage with him.

There are a few others who might agree with the ideas he posts who don't seem to be out for effect, but are truly harboring strange ideas and concepts regarding race.

Hmm . . . links plz. Every day the TMZ of clutchfans comes up with something new to try and push away from posts exposing their reality, yet it just shows how emotional you get when confronted with the truth.

When the smoke, and mirrors, you use to prop you up are shattered.

Does it piss you off how much Dwight makes for being so lazy despite his natural talent? How much unskilled players like Kwame Brown made out of high school? The athletic black stereotype? It's not called racism - it's called how things work based on a sample subset.

And just like Henson was profiled for driving the same SUV used in a previous robbery - as a possible connection to a suspect instead of the same one - people are profiled constantly. Put an athletic white guy or Eminem in his shoes and the same situation would have happened. Instead of playing the victim and getting angry, look at the cultural aggression that lead to your paranoia. Until that changes, it's on you to make the effort to distance yourself.

The only victim here is the shop owner. Henson, is NOT a victim. If it happened to a white person, he would NOT be a victim. He becomes a victim when someone's mind lives 50 years in the past because he lacks the presence of mind to analyze his current surroundings. It's just easier to say a successful white man is trolling you rather than use his logic to be one of the many, many successful minorities only America can produce.

A winning, CAN DO mentality is nothing new to successful minorities without athletic talent. More likely than not, your extreme thirst for social validation, keeping up with the jones, fantasies etc. are clouding your judgment.

This is about as racist as you can get in attitude. Dwight is lazy? Why because he is black? He is lazy because...how? The man just happens to look like the perfect human specimen because he sits on his couch and eats bon bons? WTF???

This idea that Dwight is a lazy black man because he isn't like Kobe (whom I might as neither is anyone else) is the ridiculous narrative employed by racists.

This is the big lie - that all it takes is hard work and boom, you are successful. American dream and all that crap. Well you are comparing a broken people who suffer from systematic racism to immigrants who are the best and brightest and most ambitious people on earth. Immigrants are a selection of people. There are plenty and plenty of lazy Indians, Chinese, Mexicans and Irish people - they just don't come to America.

So business owners are not allowed to be cautious or suspicious of black people now regardless of the circumstances?

Just admit that as bad as this incident looked initially, it became a nonstory after the facts came out and that it would never have made headlines in the first place if Henson were an oversized athlete of another race.

Dumbest thing I've seen all week. Questioning Dwight's work ethics automatically makes you a racist now? Seek help.

 

This is a horrible post! Calling black people broken and the worst of the worst. I look at America and I see them among the best in every field.

No where did I correlate being lazy to being black - in fact I have always inferred black youth are far more hard working than white youth. Buh hard work mean diddly doo daa - you got ta work smart.

Not all people are born equal. Dwight can be laid back or lazy and make millions because of his genetic gifts. Whereas guys like Battier and Bowen can't. But you don't see them sitting on their ass whining, they put their heads down and get to work in ways that work for them.

Working smart encompasses understanding the above paragraph to get the most out of what you got. If you jaygoogle it and play the blame game, you'll be too busy going around in circles to get anywhere.

You're too busy fighting everyone else . . . when the biggest battle you have is against yourself.

 

You are right. Like I said, the best predictor of an individual's future success is how much wealth their family has.

If you agree with that and assuming that in the past there have been economic/social policy that has targeted specifically black people then it is about race... because their familial wealth is lower as a result of such policies.

The policies in the last generation or two are too numerous to list, but you can start with lending discrimination and housing policy. It is pretty much irrefutable that lending practices in the 20th century discriminated against black people, so much research has been done on it.

The Boomers and children of WW2 vets benefited greatly from the GI bill, except black soldiers of course. On the aggregate it takes more than one generation to really build wealth in this country, although people do it in one.

It's a different time now though. My family came to America in the 70s with almost nothing. They lived frugally and saved working low wage jobs to eventually open businesses. That dream was possible then, but if you suggest that two people can do that now working low wage jobs with no education, you are fooling yourself. Wage inflation has not kept up with overall inflation, at all.

They're all retired now with almost all of their children having graduated college and working white collar jobs. Do I think if my family had started today in this economic environment that it is possible? Probably possible, it would have taken 30 years instead of 10. Luckily we came in the 70s instead of today.

Look people, it's not a blame game. I don't know how anyone can say with a straight face that systemic racism in the past and present hasn't had an effect on the economic outcomes of those races when you look at the aggregate. It simply does, and denying that it does is just pure willful ignorance.

Name economic or social policies of the last generation that has specifically targeted people of those races you listed? You can't find any.
