When do you usually hit the shower?

Just had a brief convo with a few coworkers over this, and it reminded me of a typical Hangout thread. So I thought I'd post the question here. I'm an AM person myself, but I often take them in the evening as well.

Also, if you are a "day-skipper", please identify yourself so that you can be ridiculed for being dirty.

*A "Day-Skipper" is a person who regularly skips having a shower for one or more days at a time.

Never gone to work without taking a shower in the morning. Now, if I have nothing to do....well....

Weekdays - mornings and most of the time also at night
Weekends - right before I have to go somewhere, or right after having done yard work

Sure. If that's what it takes for you to stay clean... I'm not mad at you for it.

Has to be morning. Can't show up to work with bed head.

This differs by culture, though. I've noticed many Asians tend to do the night shower thing. It's obvious when they show up to work with bed head.

Night only person after work and workout.

I'm too lazy in the morning. It takes me exactly 20 minutes from getting off bed to get to my car for work. This includes brushing twice, mouth wash, breakfast, face wash, clothes etc

A'int nobody got time in the mornings.

Yes, that's what I do. How can anyone crawl into bed with an entire day's worth of sweat and grime still on them. Yuck.

A shower in the morning wakes me up makes me feel refreshed.

    AM

Helps me wake up and my hair would be out of control without one.

I used to take showers in the morning but i've moved away from that over the last few years...i'm not really sure how/why.

I take one after i get home from work or the gym. I prevent bed head with clever simple technique called...fixing my hair.

I can't imagine going to work without taking a shower in the morning. I would just feel gross all day.

Plus, like texxx mentioned, bed-head is a major issue for me. No amount of "fixing" does any good unless I shampoo.

You don't take a massive dump in the morning?

I have to allocate 30 minutes in the morning just for that task

FYI, you're not suppose to wash your hair everyday. A rinse should suffice in the AM.

Morning and after my lunch workout (gym @ work).

I take 3 showers the weekday I ball after work. LOL.

My dump is usually paid. High quality dump

I take it in the office for about 40 minutes.

Normally in the morning to prevent bed head.

Sometimes will shower in the evening if I get sweaty from day activities (hike, workout, swim, play basketball). So in the morning, I rinse my hair under the shower and style it.

evenings for me. No need to shower in the morning. I have AC in my house so I wake up fairly fresh. And bed hair? I just wet my whole head and that takes care of that problem.

I cannot physically function until I take a hot shower to jolt my body awake, even on the weekends.

    My showering flowchart

Wake up > did you shower last night?

    YES > don't shower

    NO > do you smell?

YES > are you in a hurry?

YES > cover with extra deodorant and cologne

    NO > shower

    NO > don't shower

Getting ready for bed > did you exercise today?

    YES > shower

NO > did you shower this morning?

    YES > don't shower

NO > reassess in the AM

*note - bedhead is prevented on all non-shower mornings with a quick in-sink hair washing
