This second wave of NXT women are far more talented and polished than the first wave of champions (Paige, Charlotte, Sasha, Bayley) and Lynch. So excited to see Asuka, Athena Reese, Nikki Storm, etc I think Nia while not a great wrestler yet still knew how to work that match. Haven't seen Bliss wrestle but people on other boards seem to be high on her. I think Evie, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are all great workers just will take them time to develop characters and get them over but they have the wrestling talent. Evil Emma is fantastic but probably not on a championship level.
Asuka and Athena were brought in after extended runs in the indies, they should be more polished than the girls that were brought in largely as wrestling noobs. More talented, I'm not so sure. Charlotte, Bayley and Becky Lynch are all pretty awesome. They are certainly better than Paige, whose performance looked better because of lowered expectations at the time. Alexa Bliss has athleticism, personality and great looks (best in the company IMO). Now that they are starting to elevate her, I think she's gonna be the next big thing. I haven't seen anything special from the rest of the girls yet. Not saying they won't be great, I just haven't seen much so far. Once upon a time I said that about Sasha Banks. Which brings me to her. Sasha is on a completely different level from all of them IMO. There's more to pro wrestling than in ring ability ,which she certainly doesn't lack. Her personality, selling, mannerisms, heel tactics, she's just the complete package. She is must see TV, more so than any of the regular performers in the company, male or female. If they could put that in any of their male performers they would be the face of the company.
I really wish NXT would dump Blake & Murphy. They haven't progressed at all and it's one of the few if not the sole title holders in NXT that I really do not like listed among the title lineage. A few months ago Vaudevillains were really the only NXT tag team I enjoyed watching but I like the emergence of Gable & Jordan and The Mechanics (who look like a young Brain Busters) I did like Alexa's promo with Bayley. I'm not sure if they take the title off Bayley this soon and promote her to the main roster. I kind of hope they continue to get the ball rolling with Sasha, Charlotte, Becky, Paige & Nattie first. Bayley is the perfect challenger after Sasha takes the title from Charlotte and runs through everyone else.
Breeze is the worst And his gimmick pisses me off so much - I get the fact that he's supposed to represent today's self absorbed Kardashian society- but when that means what SHOULD be a heel gimmick gets over as a baby face gimmick... I want to quit this life

Well, FWIW, nobody is really going anywhere on the main roster. The mid card is absolutely jam packed right now, because they are incapable of turning anybody into a true main eventer. If they had better booking he would be a very effective addition to the midcard because he is a good performer, and he will get natural heat from the casuals. But they don't know how to book, so he will probably go nowhere. People complain about the lack of charcters in wrestling, but basically everybody that comes up with any kind of gimmick goes nowhere. Bray Wyatt is the only one I can think of that has actually carved out a niche. People want wrestling to be vanilla nowadays.
Bo Dallas' gimmic is over, so was Mizdow. Both guys are above average in the ring. For whatever reason, Vince just hates for fans to have fun.
