[Another day in America] John Henson racially profiled at jewelry store

Maybe they wanted the cops to stick around because once they found out Henson wasn't the suspicious person who called, they were still worried that the person/people who called might still show up to rob them.

They found out Henson wasn't the suspicious person... which means the suspicious person is still out there.

 

Not saying John Henson is a bad guy but all athletes aren't criminals also right? I don't think the shop acted the way it was because Henson is black, it was just going through some protocols of where the shop thought there was suspicious activities going on. After all, the owner of the shop said he has met Henson and he's been a good customer. Just a story that got overblown.

 

I'm kind of done with this white vs. black crap in America, but i mean come on...Poor me the millionaire victim. Give me more facebook likes and twitter followers.

Once you start believing you are a victim, you go through your whole life looking for new ways to be a victim. You get to go home to your mansion in your fancy expensive car. They can't take that away from you. So don't go acting like what you went through is the same thing a poor black kid experiences.

Who really cares anyway? Why does that hurt? Why does it hurt people on clutchfans even? When i'm racially profiled, i'm actually humored. I could care less. We should be used to it. Don't be so thin skinned.

If you're a middle eastern guy with a big beard, you're going to be cautiously watched as you enter an airport. You don't even have to wear a turban. If you're a latino with a bunch of tattoos and a wife beater on and you walk into a convenience store, you're going to be watched carefully. It's all just a part of life today. White people didn't do this. Your fellow race did this in large numbers contributing to a stereotype. A big black man in Milwaukee of all places was racially profiled? You don't say?

You don't want to be stereotyped, then try and find the root of the problem and help change it within the community. Something is clearly wrong. Is it culture? Is it rap music? Thug culture? Is it macho culture? There has to be a reason nearly every time you read about a big fight breaking out at a sporting event, it's always tatted up Mexicans with bald heads and baggy clothes. We know Mexican culture is very macho. What made them think it was manlier to wear baggy clothes, listen to rap music, join gangs and be aggressive with women? What made them run away from the Latin Lover image? Being a fantasy of a woman aint manly enough? The dancing? The tight fitting clothes? It's not macho enough for you so you have to throw on baggy clothes, do a praying hands pose with your chin up and say the N word after every other word? You're not black. You may be more brown on the outside compared to a full European but i bet you have more than half European blood. Stop this Brown Pride crap. Does it make you feel manly? Not yet. Let's join gangs, and fight and murder. Now some young kids dress up like those guys and speak the same way and behave the same way and get upset when they're racially profiled? So get mad and do some more fighting and murder. Now there's enough of those copying each other, and even the well mannered, well dressed, well spoken latinos have to deal with being profiled because the reputation is built up enough. Sorry, forget about that sexy, kind, and smart Latina, she doesn't want that for her children and her future. She's long gone and sitting in a nice college educated white guys lap with a good career to ensure security for her and her children's future.

Why nearly every time you watch a worldstar video, it's black people fighting inside buses, subways, restaurants and other public establishments? This dude talked back to me in front of people, i can't let myself look like a p***y right? I have to be manly and start a fight. Why do even black women have to act macho like the men? What happened to black men who created rock n roll and jazz music? Dressed up in cool suits and fedoras ain't manly enough? Why speak ebonics? Blame it on slave culture because they didn't get to learn proper English and it was passed down? Sorry, but that was a long time ago and no excuse for not speaking proper English today. Because an African slave from back in the day is exactly what you're trying to sound like. Also It's instead of there are or there's. Our American English is broken enough compared to real British English. But(t) **** the Brits, this here is America. Why are crime stats so high for African Americans? You want to feel like a victim when a white cop shoots a black man but never let the stats cross your mind. The fact that black people are killing each other so much doesn't even earn the time of day and is non-news today because someone who was not black shot a black person. Cry about racism when black people can be just as racist as white people. Cry about the N word yet you use it casually every day.

Middle Eastern and mad about being labeled a terrorist by appearance? Sorry but that's the way it goes when your people declare war. Don't forget the Japanese were in concentration camps not that long ago and now what do you think of when you think of Japanese? Great food, shy, odd but cool style. Funny accents. Hard working.

Well you might say Latino's and black people grew up poor and in rough areas with high crime. Well where is the sense of community? Why do East Asians, Indians, Middle Easterners come here dirt poor and create a large community for themselves where they take care of one another? Why do they go on and own businesses and become doctors or other high level professions? Why can't hispanics or blacks have this for themselves? Did white men only hold you back and let the Chinese, Indians, etc have it all just to spite you? No. They just outworked you. They studied harder to make something of themselves for their family, and community. Nothing held them back. No evil white man stood over them telling them they were never going to have a successful career because you're black or brown. They simply outworked you and built up enough reputation for their community that gets their surnames in job applications to be pushed to the front.

The Jews have endured countless atrocities in their history, yet they prosper everywhere they settle throughout history. Their community and thirst for education is like that of Asians, Indians, etc. Maybe if blacks or hispanics ran Hollywood, they would cast all actors their race too. But no. White Jews run Hollywood. So they put handsome white men and beautiful white girls in all your dreams. Jewish comedians making us laugh every day. Beautiful white people grace our magazines and billboards. Our white saviors in books and stories. They replace your black or Hispanic or asian true story heroes with white people and steal your childrens heroes that they can relate to because they can. Not because they don't like your race. Because white sells more. And you help them sell more.
Angry there's not enough non white superheroes your kids can idolize? Well create some yourself! White men created superheroes, and they made them in their own image. You make your own heroes in your own image.

Do something to change the way you are perceived. The more individuals that do it, and only silly stereotypes will be left like asians are nerds. Blacks like watermelon. White people are goofy and can't dance, etc etc. These are all just silly and don't hurt anyone. Real racism will always exist unfortunately. That's the reality and instead of crying racism anytime a stereotype is brought up, do your part to CHANGE IT......and just laugh at racism right in the face.

They are included. Look at all forms of media. The mass murderers, creeps, pedos, serial killers are white dudes. White guys DO have their own stereotypes. It just doesn't involve robbing jewelry stores even though white people have done it just like non white people have been mass murderers or pedos or serial killers.

No human is born to a stereotype. Children grow up to be influenced by good or bad due to their surroundings in the community. It just happens that a large number of minority children are being influenced by something bad that feeds a stereotype. Can't blame it on being poor when so many other poor immigrant families from the east come and succeed.
White kids that need to be spanked when they don't get what they want and end up shooting some place up also have a problem in their community.

Here's a solution. Take everyone's children away and only let Asians parents raise them. They clearly have a plan. They may be shy sissies for the most part, but our children will be smarter than us.

Who said i believe it's 100% true? That's the problem with any mention of a stereotype. They are taken as 100% for every single individual. No individual is the exact same. When you get large communities of people behaving a certain way, the children soak that up and grow up to behave the same way. Many of those kids will make it out just fine. They will grow up with a strong focus in education, go to college and have a nice career and pass those values and priorities to their children if they are good parents.

Stereotypes are never meant to represent every individual of a group, but stats can show proof of its existence.

I'm not that smart, never said i was. In fact i am a moron when it comes to numbers but i am aware enough that when i see brown people like myself doing a certain thing that i don't do. I sit back and examine and do the eye test and realize there is a problem with this "certain thing" being multiplied and growing within the community just as fashion grows. This eye test can be done with any other community.

None of this is about race. Only racist people want to make this about race. No race is pre programmed to have certain qualities that make them prone to violence or stupidity. All human children are beautiful and innocent. Most stereotypes are a problem within a community no matter the color of their skin. It's like a cycle. Certain qualities keep being passed on to young kids who want to grow up and be tough and hard like so and so. Some good qualities can come with that but so do many negative qualities. It starts with the adults. How many grown ass people still carry on acting and dressing like their favorite musical artist from when they were kids? Look back in history and tell me when adults were ever as much a bad influence as they are today? You think of adults in the 60's, 50s, 40s, 30's, etc and they were proper adults. They dressed professional. They behaved professional and as an authoritative figure. Don't tell me you don't get sad when you see a grown ass man with his pants down to his ankles jamming music with terribly offensive, violent or sexist lyrics and letting his child soak all of this up thinking the world of bad ass daddy.

What if the world was forced to integrate completely? No one race can have too many people within their own community. So there's an even amount of white people, asians, hispanics, blacks, etc. Will every community with their equal representation evolve into different communities? Will a new culture be created in each group that has mixed? Or will the stereotypes we know of today be passed along into these communities?
I believe the stereotypes will vanish. With a large group of mixed individuals, more of the positive individuality will become important as you still want to be your own person but realize there is no one else to blame anymore but yourself. No one group will have an advantage over the other. All that blame, all that anger and sadness from being similar in appearance to people who were oppressed long ago, well it starts to fade. It wont matter that your ancestors were slaves, or were victims of genocide or were the rich and powerful since history could be recorded. It all goes out the window. Interracial marriages will be more and more common within these communities, helping our genetics become stronger with the best genes from each pool. A new human will evolve far beyond the simple thinking of the color of skin. These humans will lead us to the stars. They will find us a new home before the damage to this planet that we've done wipes us all out.

It all starts with us today.

Men are prosecuted with harsher sentences for same crimes as women. In majority of cases if police is called in family dispute, police will assume the man is the agressor. So yes police already profiles men.
