Can't wait to see tinman and Zboy's animated gifs when Lin has a bad game in regular season. This thread will have a field day.

Rockets are worse off with Patrick Beverley's $25M contract. The guy is overrated for defense and injury prone, and he has no play making skill for a PG.

I watch a lot of Hornets game during the season.(I live in NC basically my second team)

The Hornets actually look pretty good this year. Im not sure how much they will miss MKG,but they have been moving the ball a lot better and playing a different brand of basketball. Al will see less ISOs.

Lin could maybe start on opening night, but Clifford is usually a pretty safe coach and would most likely want Lin to come off the bench. I would be surprised if he got the start at SG.(He looks better as a 2/Combo Gaurd role.)So far he seems to have beat out his other competition in Lamb and PJ.

I hope Clifford doesnt play Marvin Williams at SF and Batum at SG, I dont think that will work at all for them.

Do you guys understand the purpose of the preseason?

It is for Tinman to post about Lin 3 times a day on meaningless games. If Lin plays well, it's meaningless. If Lin plays bad, he sucks. It's all meaningless, but Tinman makes 3 posts a day. 3 Posts a day more than he does about the Rockets.

Lin fans contribute nothing to Rockets wins or losses. And hating on Lin does not either. Not this year, not last year, and actually didn't on the 2 years Lin was a Rocket.

    Ecclesiastes 1New International Version (NIV)

    Everything Is Meaningless
1 The words of the Tinman,[a] son born out of wedlock of TMac, king for a few years in Houston:

    2 “Meaningless! Meaningless!”
    says the Tinman.
    “Utterly meaningless!
    Everything is meaningless.”
3 What do Tinman gain from all his post about Jeremy
at which he toil at the Clutchfans website?
4 Players come and players go,
but a Jeremy Lin thread remains forever (thanks for Tinman, ZBoy and FTW Rockets FTW).

Lin was addition by subtraction. Just getting rid of him, his low IQ, turnovers and his boneheaded plays and asking Harden to do more resulted in a WCF instead of a 1st round exit (thanks to Lin)

Lin is a net negative in the playoffs. Mentally weak coward who shrivels when the pressure goes up.

He found himself a good place. One of the worst teams in the pathetic Eastern Conference, a small market team backing up Kemba Bricker and min wage so no one can have any expectations.

No rocket fan will ever miss lin, especially when he attempted to play point guard.

Getting ty lawson for basically nothing will offset the waste of 25 million for jeremy palo alto lin.

But just like the lakers game last year, I'm looking forward to him giving us a few assists when we play Charlotte

Lin played PG today. 18/5/5. But it's preseason.

But it's meaningless. It's meaningless. You have 2 posts quota to go.

    I have no quota.

Are you really a rockets fan or did you steal a rockets esque nick ?

Lawson or lin? I pick lawson even if he doesn't play a single minute of preseason

Yes JLin was 18/5/5 tonight, and he did have that hero rebound at the end to seal to W...HOWEVER, he only shot 5/9 and did miss a free throw at the end.

Lin will probably have a good year.

But it's for a bad team where he can iso.

His problem is being a useful piece on a good team.

    Garbage team, empty stats

We have seen players as bad as Lin put up numbers on bad teams in the pathetic Eastern conference. And it's just pre season FFS

When it came to the powerful West dude played like a mentally weak puss. He lost the Rockets a playoff series and ensured Lakers get a lottery pick while his fans being dumb idiots made excuses for the mental midget

I wished he would have learned how to figure out how much time is in the game and shot clock too.

This preseason Charlotte whooped the Clippers twice and Lin played great both games. Also...I find it rather remarkable that some here on Clutchfans are still viewing Lin as a 23-year old 2012-13 Rocket. The dude is four years older and has evidently learned from his mistakes. DMo three years ago was shooting airballs from three, was skinny, and was getting abused defensively. Now look at DMo. NBA players oftentimes develop...both physically, and mentally. And Lin is no exception...Lin IN PARTICULAR because of his work ethic and intelligence should be able to develop as much as anyone. This years' preseason Lin is NOT the same Lin that Rockets fans knew, and derided. He's grown up.

Lin's overall production is solid in this preseason, so did his previous ones in L.A. and Houston.

Would love to see his performance against Pacers tomorrow as his performance often went south in the 2nd game of a b2b which was one of his major weaknesses in the past.

His best values to this Hornets team will be leading the 2nd unit as the PG and go-to guy while closing the games with the starters. Just the same role he played as a Rocket a couple seasons ago.

Rofl Lin is better than Lawson in every aspect of basketball. Lin is already better than Lawson will ever be. You should know about this Linman
