I haven't watched any preseason games and this is probably the second highlight video I've seen of him, but the first thing I noticed is, he looks MUCH MORE comfortable driving and handling the ball with his left. I always remembered him driving to his right. He seems to be favoring his left now..
He seemed pretty comfortable driving with his left hand. He also showed lots of patience and hesitation instead of driving uncontrolled like he normally does, using his size to bully Aaron Brooks. Then again, most of that was against Aaron Brooks who isn't a great defender by any means. Let's see how he does against better ball pressure. It is nice to see some improvement in his game.
/\ Lin went off in the Fourth and much of that was with Jimmy Butler guarding him. Defensively Lin shut Brooks down (1/8 from field) and did a surprisingly good job defending Butler in the Fourth. Also he fouled Hinrich out of the game. Lin is physically stronger and playing a lot more under control, and smarter. Seriously dude should have had like 9 assists tonight but Al Jefferson missed a bunch of open looks and bunnies (he shot 3/9 which is very un-Jefferson like).
Damn al Jefferson, he should have known that millions of lin fans get off on his preseason stats. How dare he fail to deliver that assists?
He's finally in the perfect situation. Big minutes on a bad team in a bad conference with no pressure.
I wish nothing but the best for Jeremy Lin and I hope he can overcome all of his insecurities and sensitivities. However, the Rockets are better without him. He was constantly making defensive mistakes on the Rockets, rotating at the wrong time, free lancing and really (along with Parsons) causing the perimeter defense to be helter-skelter.
Lin fans are so happy about the preseason it's like when you sprinkle the flakes and the goldfish start jumping to the top.
tinman is so unhappy Lin having a good preseason even though its meaningless. He's waiting for Lin to have a crappy game so he can talk about how scrub Lin plays like s#it in the preseason lol.
Do you guys understand the purpose of the preseason? Care to tell me why lebron isn't even playing? I'm not telling you if you should or should not dance around like when you saw rick hunter kiss minmay in Robotech, but lin fans these games mean nothing.
When lin scores more than 15 points in a preseason game, do lin fans run up and down the street dancing like rerun from what's happening? (Lin fans can google this )
