There was a certain organized madness about them. They definitely seem to have some set of hierarchy and code. It seems they are trying to turn people.
It's a reign of terror campaign. Last year they showed truck loads of bodies hacked up like that. The use of the W, too. Reign of Terror campaigns can have an element of "organized madness" dmoneybangbang suggests. Also, I did see them pillaging for key items. They made the comment to Carol in-disquise about where she got the gun.
I haven't gone back to watch the episode but the girl that was with Carl. When she was talking about all the vulnerabilities in the wall etc. Did I hear her wrong or did she say that's how "WE" and then Carl cut her off. Almost alluding to the fact that she was part of them?
Yeah, she was hinting pretty obviously that she's the reason for the W people infiltration to the compound. Also later in the episode the gay dude found pictures of compound from the inside, so the girl was obviously a rat.
No, those pictures and that bag were left in that car by him and Daryl at the end of the last season. They showed the wolves find the bag in the season finale.
Forget the Ricktatorship, long live the Carolocracy. As for the Wolves, there's two quotes that stick out from them. 1) "We're freeing you" 2) "We didn't have a choice" #1 makes me think they're some kind of weird cult operating under the assumption that the end times have come and people need to move on out to the next life, etc. #2 makes me think they were just the vanguard for a much larger operation
What was the deal with the girl and the symbols she kept writing to begin the episode? Do we know what those symbols are? You can spoil it (in a spoiler) for me if it's in the comic.
She spelled it out on the note she left for Carl at the end of the episode. Spoiler Just Survive Somehow
She was there when the group got there, I'm not sure how long she was there beforehand. She didn't have much of a role last season other than giving Carl his first boner.
Did you watch last season at all? That's his shtick now. He's all about preserving life. That's why everytime he's around Rick when ot while he's in the process of killing he just gives him THAT look. That may be the thing that drives them apart.... I wanna say one of the Ws (the one Morgan was telling to leave before he got sniped) picked up a gun as he ran off. That could come back to bite them in the ass.
They probably need to explain with a back story on Morgan how he came from being the crazy guy he was before to this guy who only kills walkers now. Maybe he learned this new behavior being brought back from the brink when he met up with the guy who taught him how to use the stick? Carol knows what Morgan is about. She's got her eye on him for sure. Rick probably doesn't know how much of a liability Morgan is at this point. As for whether the girl is (partly) responsible for the "W" attack, I didn't make that connection in this episode. She probably wanted to leave because of her JSS line of thinking. In her story that led her to Alexandria, she was all alone from the time her parents died to when she came to Alexandria (at least, based on what they showed). I doubt the "W" folks would have let her go unscathed if they came across her. I think the "W" folks only found out about Alexandria because of the backpack left at the "W" trap and one of them brought the backpack in.
