We did give him a tribute by allowing him to score his 1st 2 TD's of the season. Now how many TD did he catch for our team?

They gave him his only two touchdowns of the season, about all he needs.

I love that "he is a great football player" rates as a "futhermore"... I couldn't care less about popularity (though, for the record, Earl Campbell was insanely popular during his peak, both locally, as well as nationally). JJ Watt is on a pace that will absolutely push the conversation in several years (I would eventually cede him Biggio's spot). But right now, the Houston Mount Rushmore is Bagwell, Biggio, Campbell, Olajuwon. They're the best, most accomplished athletes with long ties to the city.

That's gross that you want to see a "tribute" on the screen during the game...there are kids in the stands buddy.

Not going to any Texans games until there is an appropriate tribute for Andre.

Did we do one for David Carr, Jacoby Jones, or Matt Schaub?

    Didn't think so.

Seriously, they made him look like a competent WR for likely one of if not the last time in his career. Isn't that tribute enough?

How many competent games has our elite WR depth had?

A list, by the way, that includes TE's WR's and RB's, so that's pretty good.

Andre has also been a positive blocker according to PFF.

I'm sure shorts and Washington are fearsome blockers.

DeAndre in his third season is having a much better season than AJ has ever had

you can't even use the QB argument. In fact, if you compare AJ to a lot of elite WR (CJ, Fitz, etc), a lot of them have mediocre QBs in some of their best years and still killed it.

Andre's one of 4 players in league history to put up consecutive 1500 yard seasons. If not for a bs knee injury he would've been the only player to hit 1500 yards in 3 consecutive seasons.

DeAndre's great but come on yall.
