Stop trying to be like a guy that would be 100 years old and hasn't been in office since half the country has been born. It is a losing proposition, few voters under 45 have any real tangible memory of Reagan as President.

    LOL.

Carson shared a personal anecdote on Sirius XM Radio on Wednesday.

“I have had a gun held on me when I was in a Popeye’s,” Carson said, reportedly referring to a Baltimore location of the fast food chain.

“Guy comes in, puts the gun in my ribs,” he added. “And I just said, ‘I believe that you want the guy behind the counter.’”

    "He said, 'Oh, OK.'"

Hey, go point that gun at the poor cashier instead of me!

LOL. And I am sure if the guy started shooting, Dr. Carson would have jumped the shooter. Not.

In fairness, its possible Dr. Carson may have thought it was a joke, and honestly there are way more important reasons to not vote for him (not that there is much of a chance he will be the GOP candidate). But you'd think he would he would be a bit more careful in what he says...

I'm confused as to why when Mr. Carson had a gun in his ribs, he did not rally all the people in the area to rush the shooter. Yes, he would have been shot, but the shooter would not have gotten everyone.

DAMN! Those 1st and 2nd graders at Sandy Hook have only themselves and their teachers to blame for their Deaths! They should have rushed the guy with the AR-15! He may have killed some of them, but atleast a few would have been able to over power him!:(

Racist!!!!!;) That is the great thing about Carson, we can call anyone who attacks him racist. That is what the left does when anyone from the right attacks Obama know matter how stupid a decision he makes. I am a Cruz supporter but I do like Carson and think it would be great if the tables were turned.

Very true, but don't think he's making a lot of enemies in the GOP. I also agree, it's kind of weird watching him play a chess match with the Koch Brothers.

What a bunch of bull****. People are called out when they say or do racist ****, not when they have salient points of disagreement on policy.

You mean if you could engage in the kind of behavior that you inaccurately believe Obama supporters do?

    Hypocrite.

What is stupid is the idea that the left calls any attack on Obama racist.

    Pro-Trump super PAC shuts down

The main super PAC backing Donald Trump is shutting down amidst increasing scrutiny of its ties to Trump’s campaign.

I guess we may see if he is sincere in this and puts his money where his mouth is. I am not a Trump supporter but would easily vote for him over the pathetic bunch the liberals are putting up.

[rQUOTEr]George W. Bush says he does not like Ted Cruz

Washington (CNN)Former President George W. Bush said at a closed door fundraiser Sunday that he does "not like that guy," referring to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, according to a Republican source who attended the fundraiser.

Bush isn't denying the account that he dislikes Cruz, who represents Bush's home state of Texas and is taking on his brother for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

Bush made his remarks a private fundraiser for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Politico first reported.

He called Cruz "opportunistic" for attempting to pair himself with Donald Trump in hopes of eventually winning Trump's supporters, according to the report.

A George W. Bush spokesman wouldn't comment on the specific remarks -- but said the 43rd president doesn't see Cruz as a threat to his brother.

"Since it was a private, off the record event, I won't have anything to add other than what I said in Politico: The first words out of President Bush's mouth on Sunday night were that Jeb is going to earn the nomination, win the election, and be a great President; he does not view Senator Cruz as a 'serious rival' to Governor Bush's candidacy," spokesman Freddy Ford said.

In a statement his campaign provided to Politico, Cruz -- a policy staffer on Bush's 2000 presidential campaign and a Justice Department lawyer after Bush took office -- didn't take issue with the former president's remarks.

"I have great respect for George W Bush, and was proud to work on his 2000 campaign and in his administration," Cruz said in the statement. "It's no surprise that President Bush is supporting his brother and attacking the candidates he believes pose a threat to his campaign. I have no intention of reciprocating. I met my wife Heidi working on his campaign, and so I will always be grateful to him."[/rQUOTEr]
