I always enjoy coming in here and reading the outrage on if we lose to the Jags and the posts about how much better we are then them. Then I go calculate the two teams total regular season W/L since the Texans came into the league in '02. Then I cry / go find the Crown. Texans since 2002: 89-124 Jaguars since 2002: 86-127
Again, EXPANSION TEAM! Not exactly fair to compare the first years of an expansion team to that of a team that already had a chance to establish itself. Texans since 2006: 71-78 Jaguars since 2006: 54-95
Instead lets include expansion years for both teams. Texans winning percentage since inception: 0.418 Jags winning percentage since inception: 0.455

Can we just mark this up as a loss now and save time?
I wonder if players have given up on bob and his antics. Kubiak looks like a genius next to this clown.
Still not apple to apples comparison. 1) After the early success of the Jags and Panthers, the NFL toughened the expansion rules, which is in part why it took the Browns and Texans longer to get up to speed. 2) Even if the conditions were the same, as a younger franchise, the "expansion era" takes up a larger % of overall games played for the Texans than they do for older teams and thus has a greater effect on all time winning %.
I held onto the Texans def waaaay too long in one of my leagues , finally dropped them this week so expect a great game from the D at least
XSF starting to hit bust territory. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Today's inactives: S Demps WR Washington OLB Clowney OL Su'a-Filo OL Mancz DL Pagan LB Peters <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TexansGameday?src=hash">#TexansGameday</a></p>— Drew Dougherty (@DoughertyDrew) <a href="https://twitter.com/DoughertyDrew/status/655767983894065152">October 18, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Clowney missing time? Never! Watt sick? If the Texans only had 1-2 losses, I have to think he wouldn't have even been questionable. Realizing that the Texans franchise record is worse than the Jags? Reality..... Posters arguing to claim Texans > Jags franchise? Sad. Hoyer vs. Joe Dirt Mallet? Franchise low. McNair? Counting that money with Cal.
